Because Leftist Reprobates Take Over America?
The eastern world, it is exploding
Violence flarin’, bullets loadin’
You’re old enough to kill but not for votin’
You don’t believe in war, but what’s that gun you’re totin’?
And even the Jordan River has bodies floatin’
Eve of Destruction, 1965
People of a certain age, boomers mostly, will remember this 1965 tune sung by a gravel-voiced Barry McGuire. It got lots of airplay back in the day. It was dark, catchy; DJs loved it. Maybe some believed the central message; most didn’t, not really. For most, it was just another song on the radio, mixed in with Beatles, Stones, Doors, Janis, Jimi, et al.
Now it’s 2026, and the song and sentiment are both forgotten. People are absorbed in all the new, latest stuff, e.g., Banana Ball, the saga of Caitlin Clark, and $2,000 resale tickets for Ohio State at Texas.
But what if we are on the Eve of Destruction? What if it’s because, as another boomer icon, Bob Dylan, said just one year earlier back in 1964, The times they are a ‘Changin’?
Because they surely are.
This change may explain why America is not listed in Bible prophecy, though others are: Israel, Russia, Iran, Turkey, and more.
The reason: America is taking a hard turn to the left and may simply abdicate leadership.
Recent socialist victories in Democratic primaries punctuate this shift in USA political thinking. Consider these recent socialist victories in Democratic primaries — the ones that news outlets describe as seismic. These are all actual primary wins, not projections.
- Michigan
- Abdul El‑Sayed — Won the Democratic primary for U.S. Senate, defeating Rep. Haley Stevens.
- Donovan McKinney — Sanders‑endorsed challenger defeated incumbent Shri Thanedar in Michigan’s 13th District House primary.
- Will Lawrence — Progressive/left‑wing candidate won the Democratic primary in Michigan’s 7th District.
- Colorado
- Melat Kiros — Democratic socialist defeated longtime incumbent Rep. Diana DeGette in Colorado’s 1st Congressional District.
- Manny Rutinel — More progressive candidate who won the primary in Colorado’s swing district.
- New York City —A full sweep of socialist‑aligned candidates backed by NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani:
- Darializa Avila Chevalier — Defeated incumbent Rep. Adriano Espaillat.
- Brad Lander — Defeated incumbent Rep. Dan Goldman.
- Claire Valdez — Defeated Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso. These three victories were widely described as a major show of force for democratic socialists in NYC.
Additional Democratic Socialists of America (DSA)‑Linked or Socialist Insurgent Wins
- Zohran Mamdani — Previously won the New York City mayoral race (2025), noted as part of the broader socialist ascendancy.
- Katie Wilson — Won the Seattle mayoral race (2025), also cited as part of the trend.
Summarizing, across Michigan, Colorado, and New York City, socialist or DSA‑aligned candidates have:
- Defeated multiple long‑time incumbents, including Diana DeGette, Adriano Espaillat, and Dan Goldman.
- Captured high‑profile primaries, including a U.S. Senate nomination (El‑Sayed).
- Swept entire slates in NYC under Mamdani’s backing.
These wins are consistently described by major outlets as evidence of a left‑wing insurgency reshaping Democratic primaries nationwide.
Down with Trump, MAGA, capitalism and corporations! And here’s the biggest one of all:
Madame President AOC
A recent Atlas Intel poll — the most accurate pollster in both 2020 and 2024 election cycles — shows Alexandria Ocasio‑Cortez leading the 2028 Democratic presidential primary field for the first time, drawing 26% support among respondents and placing ahead of Pete Buttigieg (22.4%), Gavin Newsom (21.2%), and Kamala Harris (12.9%). This result has been widely interpreted as a sign of growing strength among progressive and socialist‑leaning voters inside the Democratic Party.
AOC formerly projected an image of a shrieking-witch type, strident, overbearing. Now, her image remade, she is showing up on Sunday morning news programs as the girl next door, so sweet, so kind, and “no, I haven’t decided to run for president because I am working on getting health care for anyone, but at this juncture one can’t rule anything out.” (Paraphrase of an August 9, NBC Meet the Press interview.)
That is a huge change in image, and leadership from a relatively short time ago. A few years ago, Trump was It. Now: AOC. Do you have whiplash?
Children of Satan
This is a spiritual phenomenon, from God’s hand. God is doing this, using pagan leaders to do his bidding, as he did with Pharaoh, Nebuchadnezzar, Cyrus, Artaxerxes, Darius, and Pontius Pilate. It is an awesome and terrifying thing to watch God at work.
God moves the minds of leaders like a gardener moves a garden hose.
Proverbs 21:1 (New Living Translation): “The king’s heart is like a stream of water directed by the Lord; he guides it wherever he pleases.”
The leftist mind is a reprobate mind. It demands and expects something from you for nothing from me: free medical, free education, free housing, and even free food. It is a victim mentality: you owe me. It is the opposite of Paul’s dictum: you don’t work, you don’t eat. Under the guise of “being good” (Satan appears as an angel of light, after all), the left is reprobate, i.e., depraved, corrupted. Even the slowest human could not misunderstand the quid pro quo of human commerce but for the fact of being demon-possessed or oppressed.
And that’s the least of it; leftists support:
- Homosexuality LGBTQ+ rights
- Transgenderism
- Abortion
- Illegal migration
- No borders, no nations
- Defund ICE
- Defund police
- Pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel rhetoric, policies
- Anti-American:
- “America deserved 9/11, man. We ##!!@@ did.” – Hasan Piker, social media leader
- “It’s time to abolish Thanksgiving and replace it with a day of truth and healing.” Francesca Hong, Wisconsin governor candidate
- “Capitalism is not a redeemable system for us; it’s a system that prioritizes profit over human lives.” Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
- Social justice
- Reparations
- Climate policy directives
- Carbon tax
- Universal Medicare
- Progressive taxation
- Zohran Mamdani, NYC mayor: “We’re going to tax the rich.”
- Student debt cancellation
- Housing as a human right.
- “We need to expropriate housing from private developers and guarantee it as a public right.” Zohran Mamdani, NYC mayor
- Government grocery stores that provide free or “low cost” food
- Expanded access to voting boxes
- Worker cooperatives
- Mandatory paid family leave
- Expanded unemployment protections
- Unionization protections for those who work
- Guaranteed annual income for those who don’t
- Anti-older, white Americans, “boomers.” Hong entered a Culver’s and famously said she had to leave because there were so many old, white people there. She was having a panic attack.
- Anti-private property
- Anti-Christian (protesters disrupt St. Paul church service; media personality (former CNN) Don Lemon was arrested), pro-Muslim
- Anti-Democratic AND Republican. New Left leader Nina Turner described them as “It’s like being offered a bowl of s*** versus half a bowl of s***.”
- Profane, vulgar.
It is all magical thinking. It is something for nothing. It is victim mentality. It is you owe me; I owe you nothing, and I’m not willing to work for anything.
It is also diametrically opposed to our history: that of immigrants who wanted to work hard, contribute, earn a good wage, possibly start a business to serve others, own a home and raise a family. Leftists are 180 degrees to this.
It is a blanket of delusion spread over the land, aided and abetted by God himself, who has given them over to their Satanic thinking. “They are clouds without rain, blown along by the wind; autumn trees, without fruit and uprooted—twice dead.” Jude 1.12. Are churches teaching this? Do pastors even know who the Left represents?
Here is the proof verse, and it is chilling, because after being rejected, God turns his back on those who reject him:
Romans 1:28 (King James Version): “And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient.”
Other passages that illustrate the point:
2 Timothy 3:8 (KJV): “Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.”
Titus 1:16 (KJV): “They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.”
2 Corinthians 13:5 (KJV): “Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?”
So.
As these deluded, literally God-forsaken, socialist candidates gain ground speed, how might they govern? How might they tackle the elephant in the room, the Iran War?
Most of the Democrats driving this new leftward shift are thoroughly unified on the Iran War: they argue the U.S. should stand down, bring troops home, try diplomacy instead of escalation. Their statements consistently frame the conflict as a dangerous, unnecessary extension of decades‑long interventionism, and they call for cease‑fire negotiations, humanitarian protections, and strict limits on executive war powers. In their view, ending the war isn’t just a foreign‑policy choice — it’s a moral and strategic imperative for the country’s future. Many say take the same funds as goes to missiles, etc. and spend it on health care for Americans. It’s hard to argue otherwise, especially since we are losing the war and are out of ammo.
So hard, in fact, that there is a growing movement among MAGA types who say the same thing.
These voices tend to emphasize America First, warning against “endless wars,” “foreign entanglements,” and “spending American lives and money on conflicts that aren’t ours.” Like Trump himself used to do, ironically enough.
Their argument is less about diplomacy or humanitarian concerns and more about “national interest.” They say the U.S. should stop “policing the Middle East,” avoid new troop deployments, and focus resources at home. While this is not a majority position among Republican leaders, it does exist within the MAGA wing — a small but vocal faction that opposes escalation on the grounds that foreign wars distract from domestic priorities and drain American strength. No, they’re not the dominant Republican voice, but they do exist, and they’ve been vocal. Prediction: they will increase in number in response to the surge on the Left.
Consider:
- Base Loyalty vs. Anti-War Isolationism: According to polling from YouGov, self-identified MAGA Republicans continue to strongly back President Donald Trump’s policy in Iran, with over 70% approving of the war efforts. However, an “America First” non-interventionist wing—including figures like former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene and conservative commentators—has voiced sharp criticism, arguing that Middle Eastern military interventions contradict the core tenets of the MAGA platform. This contingent is growing stronger by the day, as Trump loses the war and is out of ammo.
- Cross-Party Legislative Votes: In Congress, a small bloc of libertarian and non-interventionist House Republicans—including Rep. Thomas Massie, Rep. Warren Davidson, Rep. Tom Barrett, and Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick—have repeatedly sided with House Democrats on War Powers resolutions aimed at forcing an end to unapproved military hostilities.
- Electoral Strategy: Anti-war conservative dissenters have generally sought to primary pro-war establishment Republicans or push the Republican platform toward isolationism rather than endorsing or voting for Democratic candidates.
By November, will MAGA support Trump? Will MAGA itself move to the left?
From the Wall Street Journal, August 15, 2026: A large store in Tennessee that exclusively sells President Donald Trump merchandise is closing, and it is due to a lack of shoppers. The store is located along Interstate 40 near Knoxville, Tennessee, and its exterior has a massive Trump billboard, banners, and a brick outhouse labeled the “Democrat Superstore” that make clear what kind of goods the shop is slinging. But now the shop is selling off its remaining inventory at a 50 percent discount, Slate reports. It’s going out of business, and its owner, identified as William ‘Bill” Hays, admitted the closure is due to lack of customers.”
The broad populace is moving left, for certain, and MAGA is not unaffected. NPR is giddy with excitement, promoting polls that prove Americans are very comfortable voting for “socialists.” In 2023 and 2024, the “in color” was red. In 2026, it is blue.
The Overton Window
The Overton Window is a political model describing the spectrum of ideas that the general public deems acceptable or politically viable at any given time, regardless of an idea’s actual merit. Named after policy analyst Joseph Overton, the concept asserts that a politician’s freedom to act is constrained by where an issue falls along a continuum—ranging from “unthinkable” and “radical” to “acceptable,” “popular,” and eventually “policy.” Rather than staying fixed, this window of acceptable discourse shifts, expands, or shrinks over time as societal norms, media narratives, political campaigning, and cultural events redefine what the majority considers reasonable.
The Overton Window tells us now that socialism, which used to be taboo, has become merely outrageous, or bold. Soon (November?), middle of the road, then accepted by all. This is the case with “socialism.”
Money Talks
Not only is there a war of words underway but a war of Big Money. Leading the anti-socialist charge is the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), a prominent political lobby. Its primary mission is to advocate for pro-Israel policies within the United States government and strengthen the strategic, economic, and military alliance between the U.S. and Israel.
AIPAC spent nearly $30 million (of total $60 million from PACs) in Michigan’s August 2026 Democratic Senate primary backing rival candidate Rep. Haley Stevens. The bucks failed; the people spoke. The Muslim candidate overcame an 8-to-1 overall spending disadvantage to secure the Democratic nomination for the U.S. Senate.
Anti-Trump sentiment joins Left and Right
As AOC gains in popularity, Trump loses. He is called by many a Trojan horse:
1. Anti-War Populists and Isolationist Conservatives
Within the “America First” and populist right, non-interventionist commentators and libertarian-leaning figures often accuse Trump of being a Trojan Horse for neoconservatives and foreign policy hawks.
- The Argument: These critics contend that while Trump campaigned on ending “endless wars” and dismantling the establishment, his administration appointed foreign policy hawks and aligned with interventionist positions—effectively serving as a vehicle for traditional establishment foreign policy. On the other hand, the opposite was espoused as well
2. Constitutional Conservatives & Early GOP Rivals (2016)
During the 2016 Republican primary, figures like Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio repeatedly referred to Trump as a Trojan Horse for liberal policies.
- The Argument: They argued that his decades-long history as a New York donor with previously progressive views meant he was a “conservative impostor” using populist rhetoric to capture the Republican nomination.
3. Traditional Evangelicals & Moral Conservatives
Some traditional Christian conservatives and Never-Trump evangelical commentators have described Trump as a Trojan Horse within the church. He was once their favorite and only choice for president.
- The Argument: They argue that while he delivered on key conservative judicial appointments, he simultaneously brought personal, moral, and institutional liabilities that damaged the broader witness and integrity of evangelical institutions.
Trump is lost, socialists are being found, America is taking a hard turn to the left. Kalshi, the online prediction platform (place your bets, folks), is putting a midterm Senate Blue Wave chance at 75%.
The newly elected left – whether called Democrat, Socialist, New Left, Progressive — will stop the war. They will hold power for at least a decade, and there will be no U.S. return to the Middle East in our lifetime.
That may be the best case for America, to be relegated by the Left to the sidelines who simply say “we are out” (per president AOC or someone like her, 2029, if the war drags on that long to the end of the Trump term. Not possible, you say? That would be less than three years, a bargain as these quicksand wars go. Vietnam lasted 19 years and five months). Since then, we have suffered through Iraq, Afghanistan, and now Iran.
This is how the mystery of exclusion turns out, how it turns out that America is not mentioned in end-times Bible prophecy. America, led by the Left, simply says, no mas. It withdraws. We shift support to health care, education, trans and LGBTQIA+ rights, abortions, migrant rights, Muslim causes, and more.
Pro-Palestinian leftists achieve their dream: no more military aid for Israel. $0. Israel is left entirely on its own. Well, almost on their own. God himself defends Israel from the coalition of Russia, Iran, Turkey et al (Ez. 38, 39), which swoops down at that time to take a spoil. And Israel plus God is an impressive majority, as things turn out.
That is the “best” case for the unsaved American population, so to speak. They get to live a bit longer. To sit out another war, a new and losing proposition versus Iran, after a consistent string of failures in Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan.
There is a worse case: to get nuked. We’ll consider that very possible outcome in Part II.
