How Soon Regime Change?
With talk that President Trump is prepared to use the “Mother of all Bombs” against Iran soon, a lot of people are talking about when or if Iran’s evil regime will be a thing of the past.
Uprisings have been tried, and a poorly armed populace got shoved into a meatgrinder. Separate bombings campaigns by Israel and one coordinated effort knocked out much of Iran’s nuclear program, but they immediately went back to rebuilding. Over time, they will be back at previous levels.
The one overwhelming element to all this is the failure of the American public to see the justness of defeating Iran, to finish them.
For people in a culture where a main priority is driving to the lake, or shopping, it’s hard to understand the lethal threat Iran poses. And, the satanic propaganda afoot is that we are doing this for Israel. So the nutty Jew conspiracy people in the basement float that as the reason we’re trying to knock-out Iran before they do us. Except too many Americans don’t recognize that we are the target. For 47 years, the mullahs have chanted, “Death to America, the Great Satan!” Yes, they target Israel, but they are aware that we are the primary objective.
So…all the talk is, what will the U.S. military do?
Frankly, our leadership, even this infinitely better one than the clownish Biden, is too inconsistent. Trump’s muzzling of Israel last summer regarding this matter is baffling. It would have all been over and 100,000 (at least) brave Iranians wouldn’t have been murdered by their own government.
But what is a better bet? (Geez, now that makes me think of Roger Daltrey singing, “You better you bet!”
It is this: Israel will do the job. Netanyahu means business. He’s always meant business. And, as usual, all the hand wringing over the “death of his political career” is so much huff. Polls now show him as winning the elections in a few days.
Israel might (or…might not?) challenge Iran directly. I have no doubt that Bibi wouldn’t hesitate if it had to be done. But they are helping create conditions on the ground. From The Jerusalem Post:
“Ophir Falk said military and economic pressure was creating an opening for Iranians to challenge their rulers, while stressing that regime change was up to the Iranian people.”
Iran’s economy is coughing up blood, thanks to the West’s sanctions.
“Israel was ‘very close’ to creating conditions for regime change in Iran, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s foreign policy adviser Ophir Falk told The Jerusalem Post in a studio interview, while stressing that the Iranian people would have to determine their country’s future.
“’I think we’re very close to creating those conditions,’ Falk said when asked how close pressure on Tehran had brought the prospect of regime change. ‘Those conditions are being created as we speak right now.’”
And the more Tehran saber-rattles, the more you can be sure the death rattle isn’t far behind.
Evil never sleeps, never rests, never takes a vacation. Iran’s regime will not stop until it’s utterly destroyed.
That’s why we must remain vigilant and do our part by praying to the Lord of History for his continued preservation of His people, Israel.
