On Sept. 24, 2026, the Prophecy News Watch (PNW) staff posted an excellent article that says two visions of the future are taking shape.
They noted that world leaders have gathered for a UN meeting in New York to speak about war, security, artificial intelligence, climate, international law, and the future.
But these leaders are espousing two different visions about how the world should be governed.
Here is part of what the PNW staff said:
One places national sovereignty at the center.
Nations cooperate when it serves their interests but ultimately retain control over their laws, borders, technology, military, and foreign policy.
The other places growing emphasis on multilateralism: stronger international institutions, global standards, international law and coordinated action when individual governments refuse to follow an emerging international consensus.
As to where America stands at this time, the PNW staff said:
- Trump’s message to the United Nations was unmistakable.
- America will cooperate, negotiate, and maintain alliances, but it will not surrender its sovereignty to international institutions.
- He denounced attempts by unelected “globalist bureaucrats” to dictate policy to sovereign nations.
After some important discussion of the two visions (and their disagreement over what world leaders should do about Israel), the PNW staff pointed out that the U.S. changes presidents.
And the unanswered question may be where America will stand in the future.
Will America continue to be a sovereign nation, or will America align itself with the unelected globalist bureaucrats?

At the end of the Tribulation Period, God will cause the Antichrist to gather armies from all the nations at the Valley of Jehoshaphat and destroy them; Rev. 19.)

Here are some recent events that seem to indicate that the end of the age is near:
One, on Sept. 24, 2026, Barry Stagner (author of 7 books on Bible prophecy) posted a brief article on Harbingers.com that says in part:
- The world is readying itself for the ministry of the false prophet and his global religious system.
- The pump is being primed by people’s demands that all religions be viewed as equal and that adherents of every religion respect the beliefs of others.
- This will never happen, and the only solution is for people to develop a one-world religion.
- The world is making itself ready for the greatest deception in all of human history: the pseudo-peace that will be offered to the world through the worship of the antichrist.
- While it is clear that today’s growing call for religious ecumenism is setting the stage for a one-world religion, what is often overlooked is the nature of that final global religion.
- It will not be Catholicism blended with Islam blended with Buddhism, like many have purported.
- Revelation 13 makes it clear that the global religion of the tribulation will be Satan worship.
- Everyone whose name is not written in the Lamb’s Book of Life will worship the dragon who empowers and gives global authority to the beast.
- Imagine a world filled with Satan worshippers, and you can easily arrive at an understanding of why the tribulation saints will be hated to the degree that people prefer to see them dead. After all, their “god” only comes to steal, to kill, and to destroy (John 10:10).

Two, concerning world government: on Sept. 30, 2026, Alex Newman (The Liberty Sentinel) said:
- President Trump delivered a fiery address at the United Nations, declaring there will be “no global government” and “no global taxes” while he is president.
- He blasted the International Criminal Court, mass migration, UNESCO, and efforts to impose global control over artificial intelligence.
- The president also issued a stark warning to Iran and predicted the eventual collapse of Cuba’s communist regime, causing the Cuban delegation to leave the UN floor.
Three, concerning wars and rumors of wars at the end of the age: on Sept. 28, 2026, it was reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin has just signed a decree to increase the size of the Russian army to 2.4 million active-duty members.
Experts think it will take 5-10 years for Russia to train and equip the troops that will be necessary to reach this goal.
(More: Ukraine said that more than 8,000 North Korean troops are already on Russian soil and that Pyongyang is preparing to send another 10,000.)
(More: On Sept. 30, 2026, it was reported that Russia warned NATO that Russia will be ready to use the entire arsenal of forces and capabilities at its disposal, including nuclear weapons, if NATO countries attempt to isolate Kaliningrad from the rest of Russia. Kaliningrad is a heavily militarized Russian exclave on the Baltic Sea.)
Four, concerning deception at the end of the age: on Sept. 30, 2026, Hal Turner said,
- Word is out that Secretary of State Marco Rubio ORDERED the Iran Delegation in New York to leave the United States immediately on Monday night into Tuesday morning because negotiations with Iran were not making progress.
- The Iran Delegation was taken to the airport, put on a plane to Doha, Qatar and departed New York City at 1:20 AM on Tuesday morning. In simple terms, they were thrown out.
- President Trump canceled the planned trip by Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner to Pakistan to resume negotiations with Iran.
- Trump said we will not be making any more 18-hour flights to sit around and talk about nothing.
- Iran can call anytime.
Turner added his observations:
- This proves Iran negotiations went absolutely nowhere, and now it proves no new negotiations will take place.
- All claims to the contrary for the past weeks have been utterly false.
- Anyone thinking the Oil Flow from the Middle East will resume is delusional.
- Anyone with an above-room-temperature IQ knows claims to the contrary are outright lies.
- The strait is closed.
- Oil is not flowing.
- Inflation is not 3%.
- The U.S. Treasuries Bond market is not okay.
- Gas prices will not go down to $2.
- Diesel Prices will not go down.
- Home Heating Oil Prices will not go down.
- The war will not end after the midterms.
- It has ALL been lies.
Five, concerning the availability of diesel: on Oct. 1, 2026, it was reported that the U.S. has asked the EU to release 120 million barrels of diesel from its strategic preserves over the next six months.
They have called a meeting to discuss it, and if they do, it will amount to more than 40 percent of the bloc’s emergency diesel and gasoil reserves.
Six, concerning deceit at the end of the age: on Oct. 7, 2026, following extensive research, Israel said that 170 Gazans killed during the war who were presented as journalists and media personnel were in fact serving as terrorists for terror organizations in the Strip, foremost among them Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
Seven, concerning hatred for Israel at the end of the age: on Oct. 1, 2026, it was reported that a new poll has found that nearly one in five likely American voters say they would accept a peace agreement ending the Iran war that would dissolve the State of Israel and replace it with a Palestinian state if the deal also brought lower oil and gasoline prices.
(My opinion: God will not allow the destruction of Israel, and He will eventually destroy any nation that tries to do it. Those in America that are willing to accept the destruction of Israel for lower oil and gasoline prices are inviting the destruction of America. And we know that America will eventually surrender to the Antichrist’s one-world government.)

The scale and persistence of the airlift are drawing attention as tensions across the region remain elevated.
- Trump said oil prices are set to fall sharply as soon as the war with Iran is over,

- Hal Turner said the US committed to selling 172M barrels out of the US SPR as part of the joint IEA 400M global release. September, we will see the end of this commitment, putting us about ~9M barrels below the Congressional 252.4M mandate. The SPR has not been this low since 1982. The reserve was created in 1975.
- Trump is willing to ease sanctions on Iran if it moves on its nuclear program.
- Iran has just struck an oil tanker transiting the Strait of Hormuz under US escort in the US-backed southern Omani corridor. A fire has broken out aboard the tanker.
- Secretary of State Marco Rubio ordered the Iran Delegation in New York to leave the United States immediately because negotiations with Iran were not making progress.

- The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) Bu Hasa oil field is now smashed and burning.
- According to Intelligence Sources in the Middle East, Iran is now “bombing the hell out of Abu Dhabi.”
- Three separate Intelligence Sources in the Middle East said it appears that long-term damage to Middle East oil shipments are now taking place. Some of the facilities already bombed today won’t be fixed for over a year.
- Four oil tankers have been struck by Iran in the Strait of Hormuz in the past 24 hours.

- Trump said, “I don’t think you can ever have peace with Iran.”
- Trump said, “I have to make a decision; either Iran signs a deal, or it won’t exist any longer.”
