The Hamilton County Justice Center is one of a half-dozen jails and prisons who have reached out to us asking for King James and Spanish Bibles

When I was preaching the other night at Northside Baptist, an urgent message on the Pretrib Rapture, one of the opening songs that was sung was called “We Get To”, and it was about not “having” to serve the Lord, but “getting” to serve the Lord. It’s an honor, and a priviledge, that the LORD of GLORY would even desire us to get in on His Grand Plan for the Ages. Bibles Behind Bars, to me, is one of those things that we don’t have to do, but something we get to do it, and I believe the Judgment Seat of Christ will reveal the true extent of what God used us all to accomplish.

Chaplain Wuske at the Hamilton County Justice Center In Ohio has reached out to us with a request for 1,000 Bibles so that every one of the inmates at that facility can have one. The cost to do that is $2,830.00, that’s 62.5 cases of Bibles in case you were wondering. Ass’t Chaplain Hinton at the Eastern Kentucky Correctional Complex in West Liberty, KY, tells us that they have 2,000 inmates, and that they also need Bibles. Similiar requests from the Dyer County Sheriff’s Office in Tennessee, the Wood County Correctional Facility in Texas, and the Atascadero State Hospital For The Mentally Ill. The chaplain at the last place, Chaplain Anderson, we sent Bibles to him last year, told us that “Many of the men have read the bibles you sent us several times over until they are worn out. Some of the men sleep with their bibles tucked under their arm like a solider sleep with his rifle.” Praise the Lord, that’s good. Put all these requests together and it’s right around $6,000.00 for the amount of King James Bible and Spanish Bibles being requested. Please pray for this outreach, we need prayer more than anything, and after you pray, please consider helping us. We need you, come help us!!
