Regardless of what anyone says, I’m not really a prognosticator nor a prophet and won’t set dates like so many others have done in the past. But there is something definitely afoot these days -something evil – something strange and Satanic.
Knowing his time is short, Satan goes around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour and causing chaos across the globe. His presence is so thick, you can almost cut it with a knife – yet too many Christians go about life as though they have no skin in the game. Most have never heard of the Bema judgment of Christ.
Speaking of knives and skin, have you noticed how many stabbings are occurring here in our country, to say nothing about violence elsewhere? And it’s getting worse every day now, with parents killing their children and young people and adults killing their parents.
But alas, they do. We are commanded to go out into all the world making disciples of all men, yet they (immature Christians) continue to stumble through life as if they, in their church-going self-righteousness, will suffice. It may, but don’t they know that all of us, Christians included, are going to have our lives examined according to our works? Religious, self-righteous, hypocrites, and traditionalists beware. Get real for God’s sake!
My movie Miracles is going along better than expected. The visuals are exciting, as is the narration. My movie is a one-hour and forty-five-minute film being created for Netflix. It is based on my first book. I’m hoping that others will be strengthened by it and by how easy it is to reach out to others with a helping hand.
The movie starts right off with me crying out to God, while stumbling out into the woods late at night so no one could hear me pouring out my heart to the Almighty. I was in despair after my first wife left me for another man and took my two infant children with her thousands of miles away. The opening words in the movie coming from my mouth are (as I fall on my knees in despair) “Oh, God, if you are real, please PLEEEAAASE help me!!” He answered with peace that surpasses all understanding, and I was able to sleep for the first time in many days.
I’ve written the screenplay as though I was corresponding with a book publisher (a publisher which I currently seek for real).
A benefactor who lives in England first published my book through Amazon. So, this will be a second printing with the fat and unnecessary gristle cut away. I’m thinking of going hardcover, with a dust cover to boot – (the first was soft) just like the big boys. While I’m not trying to be pretentious, I used common folk for my acknowledgements on the first page. Anyone who reads as much as I do knows that writers use one another to tout each other’s books on a “scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours” basis. Fame and acclaim are not for me. I’m just trying to use the gifts God has given me to promote Jesus Christ and his kingdom, and what a privilege it is to do so.
Book report:
The book I’m reading now is already disappointing. I’m referring to the book Armageddon by Bart D. Ehrman, a professor of New Testament Studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. This man is doing nothing to advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In fact, he is undermining the faith of many with his manmade assumptions. This scholarly man is relying on other so-called scholars for his interpretation of the Holy Bible, all of them faulty beings. The writer goes on to tell us how we’ve misinterpreted the Bible and that he is the only one to know what it really says after making deep inquiry and analysis.
The writer fails to realize that there are infinite interpretations given to scripture by those who study it – each according to his or her needs – at the moment needed. The Bible is a God-breathed book, not just ink scribbled on paper. I know of no other book in the whole world that impacts individuals’ lives like the Bible; it is alive and powerful and sharper than any double-edged sword, even able to cut between bone and marrow and our thoughts and intents of the heart.
Obviously, this foolish man has never heard of the Holy Spirit, or he would know that it is the Holy Spirit who is the revealer of truth; all other interpretations are speculation. Who can know the mind of God?
He and his fellow scholars are mere human beings with rancid trash between their ears when it comes to knowing God. And so, for these so-called scholars, there is often contradiction and fables within their pages. The only way to truly know God is by reading the Bible – albeit that’s the reason it was given to us. Come now, what other book tells you where the Garden of Eden was, or about the Great Flood, or about Moses and the parting of the Red Sea, to say nothing about the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, a vile and disgusting community of sexual perverts.
If read carefully and prayerfully, the Bible can teach you many things most mortals don’t know – even the mind of God – through the Holy Spirit’s guidance. You have no need that anyone should teach you. The Holy Spirit is our teacher as we crack open the Bible. So let us not lean unto our own understanding, even if it contradicts what we’ve been taught by foolish, self-absorbed fallen man.
This next book bears repeating.
TWILIGHT IN AMERICA, a book written by Martin Mawyer with Patti A. Pierucci, is a tell-all book about the terrorist training camps inside America and is a must-read. In fact, every Christian and Jewish home should have this book, or at least be aware of this information. We Christians and Jews would do well to know that our country is under attack and is already beginning to fall at the hands of the enemy. Because of the apathy of many Christians, we are letting this aberrant and murderous ideology take over our land and the world.
