On July 28, 2026, Israeli Prime Min. Netanyahu met with Pres. Trump at the White House.

The Jerusalem Post reported that Netanyahu arrived amid growing White House frustration over the lack of progress toward a broader settlement in the Iran conflict and criticism from some of Trump’s supporters who oppose deeper US involvement in the Middle East.

Pres. Trump has not been able to convince Iran to give up its quest for nuclear weapons (they said they will never do it) and to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

As of this writing, it appears as though the war will continue.

Update: On July 29, 2026, following Iran’s proxy attack on U.S. forces in Jordan, the U.S. attacked Iran’s proxies in Iraq. The war is still on.

Here are some recent events that seem to verify that the end of the age is close:

One, concerning the fact that the Tribulation Period will begin when world leaders declare that the world has peace and safety (peace and security): on July 31, 2026, Pres. Trump posted the following:

• Today, the Board of Peace reached a HISTORIC agreement for the COMPLETE DISARMAMENT of Hamas and all other armed groups in Gaza. This is a monumental step toward lasting PEACE and SECURITY.
• The agreement will be carried out in carefully structured phases.
• The threat that emerged from Gaza on October 7 will NOT be allowed to rebuild.
• Under this agreement, Gaza will finally be in the hands of a new Palestinian government that serves its PEOPLE.

More: Officials from Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) urged Hamas delegation members not to sign the disarmament deal.

Two, concerning the persecution of Christians and Jews at the end of the age: on July 29, 2026, Israel’s Prime Min. Netanyahu said:

• Jews and Christians share far more than common political interests, declaring that both communities belong to the same biblical heritage and now face a common assault.
• Netanyahu connected the rise of antisemitism with increasing hostility toward Bible-believing Christians, arguing that the two movements are not unrelated.
• It’s not accidental that the two are coming under a joint attack, because we are one.
• The Jewish people and the followers of Israel’s Messiah are not detached from one another’s history.
• Christianity is rooted in Israel’s Scriptures, Israel’s prophets and Israel’s promised Messiah.
• The Jewish state is not standing alone—and Christians who defend Israel are not outsiders to its biblical story.
• They are standing beside the people through whom the Scriptures, the covenants and the Messiah came to the world.

(My opinion: Islam is the greatest threat, but it is more widespread than that.)

Three, concerning the persecution of Christians and Jews at the end of the age: on Aug. 4, 2026, The Christian Post reported that:

• Daniel Grand is an Orthodox Jew. As a faithful practitioner of his faith, he simply wanted to host a prayer gathering in his home with a small group of friends.
• But a neighbor learned about Daniel’s plans and reported him to the mayor, demanding that the city “put a stop to this.”
• Shockingly, University Heights, Ohio did exactly that.
• City officials ordered Daniel to obtain a permit to hold the prayer gathering with friends in his home, classifying it as a “place of religious assembly.”
• Then things got worse.
• To make sure Daniel didn’t hold meetings without the permit, the city began surveilling his house and even encouraged neighbors to spy on him and report any suspected violations.
• Daniel attempted to comply with the town’s outrageous demand.
• But there was an impossible catch.
• The permit process wasn’t designed for a family home—it was designed for churches, synagogues, and other dedicated houses of worship.
• To qualify, Daniel would have to stop using his house as a residence altogether.
• In other words, the city presented him with an impossible choice: abandon his attempt to host prayer meetings or give up living in his own house.
• If you’re thinking, “This can’t be happening in America,” you’re not alone.

Four, concerning Islam in the U.S.: on July 29, 2026, the RAIR Foundation USA reported that:

• The Islamic Center of Irving (Texas) is locking in a permanent $16.5 million Sharia waqf under the Muslim Brotherhood’s NAIT network – complete with shops, apartments, and a forever $1.5 million yearly cash stream funded in part by Saudi Arabia, Iran, Qatar, and other jihadi-backing (terrorist-backing) regimes.
• This is no ordinary real estate deal.
• It’s a cradle-to-grave parallel Islamic society rising in the heart of Texas, already packing 3,000 for Friday prayers and schooling over a thousand kids – the same mosque that produced a multi-million-dollar sexual-exploitation judgment against its former head imam.
• They’re still building.
• Foreign money from regimes that ban Christianity and bankroll terror is pouring in.

Five, concerning an increase in the frequency and intensity of natural disasters at the end of the age: on Aug. 2, 2026, it was reported that several wildfires have erupted in Washington state.

Three wildfires in Spokane County have burned approximately 7,500 acres and destroyed more than 600 structures.

Up to this point in time, there has been no containment of the fires.

More: On Aug. 2, 2026, it was reported that a 5.3 earthquake had struck Egypt and the Suez Canal.

More: August 1 was the hottest day in Korean history (105.8 degrees F).

Update: The Spokane County wildfires have burned at least 700 structures, including homes and businesses, and forced the evacuation of 60,000 people. One official noted that damage assessments in 1,100 areas have been difficult to figure out and will require the assistance of satellites to determine the full scope of the disaster.

Six, concerning times like the days of Lot at the end of the age: on Aug. 3, 2026, it was reported that (and this is a quote from 1440 with SIMPLE):

• The nation’s first ban on tools allowing users to generate nonconsensual “nudified” content from images or video of fully clothed people went into effect in Minnesota Saturday (Aug. 1), after a judge denied a last-minute suspension request from Elon Musk.
• A hearing is set for Aug. 19 to decide whether to pause the ban while legal challenges proceed.
• Since becoming widely available in 2022, the use of generative AI to produce content involving real people (or “deepfakes”) has skyrocketed—an estimated 96% to 98% of which is explicit, and nearly all of it involves women.
• Largely done without the person’s knowledge, such tools have been used by high schoolers to make explicit images of female students, leading to a viral undressing trend on the Musk-owned Grok chatbot earlier this year.
• The first successful prosecution for sharing explicit deepfakes (including some of children) occurred in Aprilunder the federal Take It Down Act.

Seven, concerning the days of Lot, men identifying as women, women identifying as men, etc.: on Aug., 5, 2026, it was reported that:

• LeBron James announced he will not play for the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2026-2027 NBA season and will rather join the Minnesota Lynx of the WNBA (Women’s National Basketball Association) midseason, citing a gender identity change from LeBron to Lebronya.
• He explained that embracing his true identity was more meaningful than pursuing additional NBA championships.
• James expressed enthusiasm about bringing a feminine touch to the game, including skills like windmill dunks and big muscles.

Eight, concerning deceit: on Aug. 5, 2026, Prophecy News Watch (PNW) posted a Gatestone Institute article that says Article 13 of Trump’s 20-point plan states:

• All (Hamas) military, terror, and offensive infrastructure, including tunnels and weapon production facilities, will be destroyed and not rebuilt.
• There will be a process of demilitarization of Gaza under the supervision of independent monitors, which will include placing weapons permanently beyond use through an agreed process of decommissioning, and supported by an internationally funded buy- back and reintegration program, all verified by the independent monitors.

The article continues:

• Now, however, that clear objective appears to have been replaced by something radically different.
• Instead of eliminating Hamas’s arsenal, negotiators are discussing storing weapons, transferring them to another Palestinian party, and even allowing Hamas members to retain “personal firearms.”
• The original goal of Trump’s peace plan was not to relocate Hamas’s arsenal.
• It was to eliminate it permanently.
• Replacing “demilitarization” with “storage” is a win for Hamas and other Palestinian terrorist groups in the Gaza Strip.

The writer asks:

• How did the promise of permanent demilitarization become a discussion about warehouses full of Hamas weapons?
• Weapons stored in warehouses remain weapons that function.
• Explosives stored today can be easily recovered tomorrow.
• Rocket factories that are preserved can resume production.
• Tunnels that are mapped rather than destroyed can be used again.

The writer said: “The issue has never been where Hamas keeps its weapons. The issue has always been Hamas having access to them.”

Nine, concerning wars and rumors of wars, on Aug. 5, 2026, End Time Headlines reported that:

• As the grinding military confrontation between the United States and Iran continues without clear resolution, a powerful rumor has taken root across two nations: that the conflict itself will usher in the return of the Mahdi, the messianic figure central to Islamic end-times belief, who will rise to defeat America.
• According to a report from Israel365 News, this expectation is circulating in sharply different forms—as an article of faith within Iran’s Revolutionary Guard and as viral astrological prophecy in Pakistan—yet both interpretations cast the war as the opening stage of an apocalyptic drama.
• That latent expectation has now hardened into a specific claim inside the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
• According to the Israel365 News report, some circles within the Guard believe the Mahdi will physically appear as soon as this coming August, summoned by the severe punishment Iran is absorbing in its war with the United States so that he can take personal command and secure victory.

(My opinion: I have known about the Iranian Twelver Mahdi belief for years – and believe it is false teaching – but this may be a major reason why Iran keeps dragging out the war.)

Fri. Day 154 (July 31, 2026) (Day 101 of Trump’s latest ceasefire extension) (61 days from the day Pres. Trump said he will declare total victory over Iran)

• The United States and Israel are planning what would be one of the harshest bombing campaigns to date against energy infrastructure targets in Iran, with strikes possible throughout the weekend.

Sat. Day 155 (Aug. 1, 2026) (Day 102 of Trump’s latest ceasefire extension) (62 days from the day Pres. Trump said he will declare total victory over Iran)

• S. embassies across 10 Middle East countries- Oman, Iraq, UAE, Qatar, Israel, Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait- issued fresh alerts today urging Americans to leave. In the new region-wide warning, the State Department warns Americans in the Middle East to be prepared for “escalation” in the Iran conflict, and “should be prepared for flight cancellations, periodic airspace closures, and potential travel disruptions.”
• Following a call from Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Pres. Trump cancelled another series of attacks on Iran. Pres. Trump said that Mideast allies have reached the parameters of a deal to end the Iran war and that he would hold off on ordering new strikes in the five-month-old conflict for now. He added that the emerging deal “would include the Immediate, Complete, and Total OPENING OF THE HORMUZ STRAIT, and an end to Iran’s nuclear threat.”

Sun. Day 156 (Aug. 2, 2026) (Day 103 of Trump’s latest ceasefire extension) (63 days from the day Pres. Trump said he will declare total victory over Iran)

• Iran rejected Pres. Trump’s latest ceasefire deal. Iran attacked two more oil tankers. The Strait of Hormuz is still closed to all tankers. Oil and natural gas are not flowing through the Strait.

Mon. Day 157 (Aug. 3, 2026) (Day 104 of Trump’s latest ceasefire extension) (64 days from the day Pres. Trump said he will declare total victory over Iran)

• Trump said this (latest ceasefire) is Iran’s last chance to sign a good document.
• Trump lashed out at Iranian leadership, calling them “unbelievably duplicitous” after Tehran denied it was negotiating directly with Washington, and declaring that a U.S. naval blockade will remain until an agreement or “total surrender” is achieved. (My note: Notice that it has been 64 days since Pres. Trump said he will declare total victory over Iran, so when is it going to happen?)

Tues. Day 158 (Aug. 4, 2026) (Day 105 of Trump’s latest ceasefire extension) (65 days from the day Pres. Trump said he will declare total victory over Iran)

• Israeli and Lebanese officials are meeting today in Rome for the latest round of U.S.-brokered talks aimed at calming tensions along the Israel-Lebanon border and demilitarizing Hezbollah as the Iran-backed group continues to operate in southern Lebanon.

• Iran launched a drone attack against a US military base in Kuwait.
• Prime Min. Netanyahu said, “We are standing firm on our interests in relation to the Board of Peace’s 15-point Roadmap for Gaza. We will not withdraw from our current lines (in Gaza) until Hamas is completely disarmed. He added that Israel Defense Forces soldiers had been instructed “to do everything necessary to defend themselves, to defend our territory, to defend our citizens.”

Wed. Day 159 (Aug. 5, 2026) (Day 106 of Trump’s latest ceasefire extension) (66 days from the day Pres. Trump said he will declare total victory over Iran)

• Iran announced early this morning its Strait of Hormuz agreement with Oman has been postponed over US interference and Trump’s threats. Iran said it will not conclude any agreement under the shadow of threats.
• Hal Turner said the Strait of Hormuz is still closed. Vital Crude Oil is still not flowing to the world.  The US Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) is still being drained and is approaching its “Operational Floor,” which calculations indicate will happen in now twenty-seven (27) days. Once the Operational Floor of the SPR is reached, the ability to pump any oil out of the reserves will halt.
• For the first time in two weeks, Iran has launched Ballistic Missiles at Bahrain. There are no damage reports at this time.
• Russia carried out a massive strike with ground-launched high-precision weapons and long-range strike drones on Kyiv, Ukraine, striking warehouses and military infrastructure, before hitting what turned out to be an ammunition depot. Numerous reports are coming in from several different geographic areas of Ukraine claiming, “Ukraine has no more air defenses.” Russian Combat Aircraft had complete freedom over the war zone, carrying Fuel-Air-Bombs (FABs) directly to the front lines to blow up Ukrainian positions, without being fired upon even once by surface-to-air defenses.

If you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, you must be born again (John 3:3). God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin-born, sinless Son of God, who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this.
