On Feb. 19, 2026, Worthy News posted an article by Emitt Barry about Pres. Trump’s launch of his historic new “Board of Peace.”
Concerning the UN, Trump said:
- We’re going to strengthen up the United Nations.
- We’re going to make sure it’s viable.
Concerning the Israel-Hamas war, Trump said:
- The war in Gaza is over.
- If Hamas fails to surrender its weapons, it would be harshly met.
- We will help Gaza.
- We will straighten it out.
- We will make it successful.
- We will make it peaceful.
(FYI: Before I continue, I want to point out that the Bible says the world will eventually be ruled by Ten Kings, then it will be ruled by the Antichrist, and then it will be ruled by the King of kings and Lord of lords during the Millennium. Gaza has a wonderful future, but it won’t be under the Board of Peace; it will be when King Jesus is ruling during the Millennium.)
(More FYI: We have always had wars and rumors of wars, but they will become more frequent, dangerous, and prevalent – like birth pains – at the end of the age. Peace will be removed from the earth when world leaders declare “peace and safety” on earth. The Antichrist will go forth conquering and to conquer. Multitudes will die as a result of Tribulation Period wars.)
(My opinion: Trump strengthening the UN would be a major step toward establishing a corrupt world government. Trump’s effort to divide Israel, establish a peaceful Gaza, and his naïve declaration that the war is over seems like it is headed toward a declaration of peace and safety.)
Here is Barritt’s “Prophetic Perspective,” and I totally agree:
- When Isaiah looked forward to Israel’s restoration, he saw more than just a nation rebuilt — he saw a land utterly transformed.
- In Isaiah 60:18, the prophet declared, “Violence shall no longer be heard in your land, devastation nor destruction within your borders; but you shall call your walls Salvation and your gates Praise.”
- In Hebrew, the word translated “violence” is חָמָס (ḥamas) — the same word that today identifies the terror organization sworn to Israel’s destruction.
- This is no coincidence.
- The Spirit of God used that ancient word to describe the very thing Israel faces in our day — a spirit of violence and lawlessness that opposes God’s covenant people.
- Yet through Isaiah, the Lord promised that a time is coming when ḥamas — violence itself — will be silenced in the land of Israel.
- Prophetically, this points to the day when the Messiah, the Anointed One of Isaiah 61, will complete His redemptive work for Zion (Jerusalem).
- It is the day when “the Spirit of the Lord GOD” brings true comfort to Jerusalem, when mourning is turned into joy, and when “they shall rebuild the old ruins” (Isaiah 61:4).
- The eradication of Hamas from Israel is not only a military victory — it is a divine act of renewal, a War of Revival in the truest sense, leading toward the Messianic age of peace.
- The same God who once judged the earth in Noah’s day because it was filled with ḥamas (Genesis 6:11) will again remove it from His covenant land.
- When that day comes, the word Hamas — and everything it represents — will vanish from Israel’s borders.
- The people will dwell securely, the walls will be called Salvation (Yeshua), and the gates Praise (Tehillah).
- The promise remains sure: there is coming a day when Hamas — both the word and the violence — will no longer be heard in the land.

Here are some recent events that seem to indicate that the end of the age is near:
One, Pres. Trump’s special envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, recently said U.S. President Donald Trump’s peace plan for the Gaza Strip will get the war-torn coastal enclave ready for a renaissance.
Witkoff’s exact words were:
- Who would ever have thought that we’d get to this place a year ago?
- We are going to have housing, and mass transportation, and we’re going to be able to clear and demolish all the areas there and get it ready for a renaissance.
(My opinion: Gaza is part of the Promised Land that God gave to Israel forever. God will not tolerate Trump and Witkoff dividing the Promised Land to create a Palestinian State. Ignoring what God said is a major step toward the Tribulation Period.)
Two, on Feb. 22, 2026, a man carrying a shotgun and a gas can was shot and killed after breaching the inner security perimeter of Pres. Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida.
Secret Service Agents spotted him and ordered him to put down the gun and can; he put down the can and raised the gun like he was going to shoot, and that was the end of his life.
Three, concerning the future expansion of Israel’s borders, the Two-State Solution, and the location of a Palestinian Capital in East Jerusalem: on Feb. 19, 2026, Pres. Trump’s Board of Peace scrapped the United Nations (UN) Security Council proposal for the creation of a new Palestinian Arab State in Gaza and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem (the two-state solution).
(My opinion: I am delighted that they did this, but this will not end the controversy over Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria. Nevertheless, the rejection of the Two-State Solution and a Palestinian Capital in East Jerusalem may be seen by religious Jews as a chance to rebuild the Temple.)
Four, concerning Iran’s quest for nuclear weapons: on Feb. 23, 2026, Iran’s Army chief said:
- Iran’s nuclear technology and the goal of achieving nukes cannot be eliminated through demand of the US or International pressure.
- If the US strikes Tehran, then IRGC will test its first nuclear capabilities during war.
(FYI: An Israeli military advisor has reported that Iran is producing ballistic missiles armed with chemical and biological capabilities in preparation for a military confrontation with the U.S. and Israel.)
(My opinion: Pestilence is a sign of the end of the age. Biological weapons could play a major role in this.)
Five, concerning wickedness (as in the days of Noah): on Feb. 24, 2026, 1440 reported that:
- At least 73 people, including 25 members of Mexico’s National Guard, have been killed in a wave of violenceafter Mexican authorities killed drug lord Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes—known as “El Mencho”—during a shootout Sunday (Feb. 22, 2026).
- Oseguera Cervantes was among the most-wanted fugitives in the US and Mexico for leading the Jalisco New Generation Cartel, one of Mexico’s fastest-growing criminal networks and a major supplier of fentanyl, methamphetamine, and cocaine to the US. Authorities reportedly used American intelligence to narrow in on his location and followed one of his romantic partners to his hideout in Jalisco.
- Mexico’s security chief said soldiers also killed at least another 34 suspected criminals across Jalisco and neighboring Michoacan Sunday.
- The cartel responded by setting fire to vehicles and blocking roads across Mexico, prompting airlines to cancel flights, ride shares to suspend services, and schools to close.
- The US State Department continues to advise Americansin Puerto Vallarta and surrounding areas to remain in place.
Six, concerning a potential war with Iran: on Feb. 23, 2026, Pres. Trump said, if Iran does not reach a deal with Washington, it will be a very bad day for that country and, very sadly, its people.
(Reminder: As I have said before, the U.S. attacking Iran might fulfill the prophecy of Elam, but it will not be the Battle of Gog of Magog. However, Iran has threatened to attack Israel if the U.S. attacks Iran, and that could possibly turn out to be the Battle of Gog of Magog. US tankers, as well as cargo and refueling aircraft, have arrived at Israeli airports and docks.)
(FYI: The U.S. Gerald Ford, the world’s largest aircraft carrier, and its accompanying strike group arrived off Israel’s coast on Feb. 23, 2026.)
Seven, concerning wickedness and violence in Sharia Islam: on Feb. 24, 2026, it was reported that:
- Iranian hardliner Ayatollah Seyyed Ahmad Khatami delivered a venomous sermon during Tehran’s Friday prayers on February 20, 2026, openly threatening execution for anyone who publicly renounces Islam.
- This isn’t some fringe rant—it’s straight from the heart of Iran’s theocratic regime, where apostasy isn’t just a sin; it’s a death sentence designed to crush dissent and enforce total obedience.
(My comment: Iran will kill citizens that refuse to be Muslim. Some people believe that killing someone because they don’t believe the way you do is demonic, and the Bible does teach that there are demons in Iran (Dan. 10:13, Rev. 9:14.)
Eight, concerning a potential U.S. attack on Iran: on Feb. 24, 2026, Pres. Trump took the opportunity during his State of the Union address to deliver a new high-profile warning to Iran as nuclear negotiations persist under the threat of U.S. military action against the Islamic Republic.
Trump said,
- We are in negotiations with [Iran].
- They want to make a deal, but we haven’t heard those secret words: We will never have a nuclear weapon.
- My preference is to solve this problem through diplomacy, but one thing is certain: I will never allow the world’s number one sponsor of terror, which they are by far, to have a nuclear weapon.
- And no one should ever doubt America’s resolve.
- We have the most powerful military on Earth.
(FYI: A new round of negotiations is set to begin on Feb. 26, 2026. Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner will head up the U.S. negotiating team.)
(FYI: The deadline set by Pres. Trump for Iran to submit its final proposal to deal with US (and Israeli) demands concerning Iran’s nuclear program, its Ballistic Missile program, its use of Proxies like Hamas in the Gaza Strip, Hezbollah in Lebanon, and the Houthis in Yemen is Feb. 26, 2026.)
Nine, concerning wars and rumors of wars at the end of the age: on Feb. 24, 2026, Israel warned Lebanon that it would strike Lebanon hard, and attack civilian infrastructure and Lebanon’s airport, if Hezbollah gets involved in any US-Iranian war.
Ten, concerning an increase in the frequency and intensity of natural disasters at the end of the age: on Feb. 24, 2026, it was reported that:
- A rapidly intensifying Nor’easter brought record-breaking snowfall, hurricane-force winds, and major disruptions across the northeastern United States on February 23, 2026.
- Providence, Rhode Island, recorded 96.3 cm (37.9 inches) of snow, the highest single-storm total on record, while power outages peaked above 650,000 customers and more than 11,000 flights were canceled nationwide.
- 2 cm (35.5 inches) fell in a single day, breaking the previous one-day snowfall record of 48.3 cm (19 inches) set on January 8, 1996.
- Norton, Massachusetts, recorded 80.8 cm (31.8 inches), Berkley measured 78.7 cm (31 inches), Stonington, Connecticut, reported 78.2 cm (30.8 inches), and Islip, New York, recorded 73.9 cm (29.1 inches).
Eleven, concerning God putting a hook in Gog’s jaw and dragging him and his Islamic allies onto the mountains of Israel: on Feb. 24, 2026, it was reported that:
- Massive deficit and soaring taxes because of four years of war have pushed Russia’s economy to the brink.
- Energy revenues have been cut in half; inflation is surging, and key industries from cars to coal are shrinking as more than 40% of the state budget is funneled into the war effort.
(My comment: Russia may need to seek a spoil and a prey to keep its economy from collapsing.)
FYI: God does not send anyone to Hell (all of us are born with a sin nature and destined to go to Hell because we sin), but God has provided a way (Jesus) for everyone to go to Heaven (and He is the only way to get there; John 14:6).
Finally, are you Rapture Ready?
If you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, you must be born again (John 3:3). God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin-born, sinless Son of God, who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this.
