Sign of Stepping Down? King Charles Hands Over Military Power To Prince William
King Charles has officially handed over his duties as the British Army Air Corps colonel-in-chief to Prince William. Charles, who has been the Colonel-in-Chief of the Army Air Corps for over 32 years, handed over the baton to his son, Prince William.
‘The move by Charles comes as he has been diagnosed with cancer. In his speech to the Army Air Corps, Charles stated he was”tinged with great sadness after 32 years of knowing you all”. He also revealed he has lost his sense of taste due to cancer.
