Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, who was selected Tuesday as the Democratic vice presidential nominee, is taking heat from Republican lawmakers for a recent remark he made about socialism.

Donald Trump caught a break this morning, a rather large one actually, and it came in the form of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz who Kamala Harris just picked to be her running mate as vice president. Walz is a woke, progressive, Socialist-identifying, pro-abortion, pro-marijuana and anti-gun Liberal who could possibly be the best choice as far as Republicans are concerned.

Earlier today, the Left-leaning New York Magazine ‘Intelligencer’ issued an urgent call for both Kamala Harris and Tim Walz to ‘pivot to the center immediately’ which to me is a funny thing. What they’re really saying is, “hey, Socialists, once America finds out how really radical the two of you are, you better reach out to the center before they figure it out.” How about it, America, are you ready to elect two hardcore woke Socialists? You just might be. Cloward and Piven think so.

Harris VP pick Walz takes heat for socialism remark: ‘Most radical ticket’

FROM NBC 15: Gov. Walz participated last week in a “White Dudes for Harris” livestream, a fundraising initiative intended to help spark Harris support among white males. During the stream, he was highly critical of former President Donald Trump.

“Is he a danger to society? Yes,” Gov. Walz said of Trump. “Is he a danger to women’s health? Yes. Is he a danger to world peace? Yes. But don’t give him more credit than he needs. He’s just a strange, weird dude.”

The governor also touted his “progressive values” and condemned critics who refer to them as socialism.

“Don’t ever shy away from our progressive values,” he said. “One person’s socialism is another person’s neighborliness.”

The remark drew the ire Tuesday of Senate Republicans, who slammed the governor via X. 

“This is the most extreme ticket in history,” the group account for Senate Republicans wrote.

Echoing that sentiment was Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, who latched onto the socialism remark and shared a compilation of various clips featuring Gov. Walz.

“This is the most radical ticket in American history,” Sen. Lee wrote.

Gov. Walz made a similar comment on MSNBC in late July, claiming socialism is a buzzword for GOP critics.
