Israel National News reports: “Half of the missiles launched by Iran at Israel on Saturday night either failed to launch or crashed before reaching their target, ABC News reported citing US officials.
It is estimated that Tehran launched 150 ballistic and cruise missiles during the attack, a substantial number of which were intercepted by Israel’s aerial defense array.
CENTCOM announced on Sunday that US fighter jets and warships downed 80 drones and at least six ballistic missiles targeting Israel. Other countries that participated in the interceptions were the UK, France, and Jordan.
A senior US official told ABC News that at least nine missiles managed to get past the aerial defense array and hit the Nevatim Air Base and an additional IAF base in southern Israel…”
