The Vatican Attempted To Open Up America’s First Taxpayer-Funded Roman Catholic School But Got Shot Down By Oklahoma Supreme Court

The Oklahoma Supreme Court on Tuesday ruled that the state’s approval of a publicly funded Roman Catholic charter school is unconstitutional.

You’ve got to give Rome credit for one thing, she never, ever quits. Her latest scam was a bold one, attempting to get American taxpayers to foot the bill for one of their private Roman Catholic training schools in Oklahoma. Fortunately it was shot down in short order by the Oklahoma Supreme Court who rightly saw the move for what it was. But now that they’ve tipped their hand, you can expect many more such court cases like this one to pop up.

“And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.” Revelation 17:5 (KJB)

The Roman Catholic Church has not been in power over the last couple of hundred years, and when they are in the minority, they like to act all peaceful and loving. But when the balance of power changes, and my King James Bible tells me that’s right around the corner, they become bold as the devouring and raging lion the Bible says they are. The Vatican is preparing itself for its upcoming 7-year reign, (perhaps Reich is the better word), which will be in power in the days after the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church. In the meantime, good job to the people of Oklahoma. Stay vigilant, the wolf is at the door.

Oklahoma’s top court rejects establishment of first publicly funded Roman Catholic school

FROM YAHOO! NEWS: The ruling follows a decision last year by an Oklahoma school board to approve the Catholic Church’s application to create the first taxpayer-funded religious charter school in the U.S. The state’s attorney general then took the matter to court.

“St. Isidore will evangelize the Catholic faith as part of its school curriculum while sponsored by the state,” the court said.

The state’s constitution mandates that public schools, including charter schools, be nonsectarian and prohibits the use of public money for the benefit or support of religious institutions. As a result, according to the court, the establishment of St. Isidore, which would have cost taxpayers up to $25.7 million over its first five years of operation, violates the state and federal law.

Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond said the state’s top court’s decision was “a tremendous victory for religious liberty.”

“The framers of the U.S. Constitution and those who drafted Oklahoma’s Constitution clearly understood how best to protect religious freedom: by preventing the State from sponsoring any religion at all,” Drummond said in a statement.

Church officials previously said they hope the case will reach the U.S. Supreme Court, where a 6-3 conservative majority has taken an expansive view of religious rights, including in two rulings since 2020 concerning schools in Maine and Montana. READ MORE

The Oklahoma Supreme Court has blocked St. Isidore’s Catholic School from becoming the nation’s first religious charter school. The court determined the state school board’s narrow approval last year violated the establishment clause, which prohibits government from making any law “respecting an establishment of religion”. In the ruling, Justice James Winchester said, “Under Oklahoma law, a charter school is a public school, as such a charter school must be nonsectarian.” Legal challenges are expected to follow and the case could be put in front of the US Supreme Court.
