Chris Tomlin, Daniel Carson, Ed Cash, and Jesse Reeves wrote an incredible worship song called “Jesus Messiah.”
Chris Tomlin recorded it for Universal Capitol’s Music Group, and it has been sung millions of times in churches all over the U.S.
Time called Tomlin “the most often sung artist in the world.”
It has been my opinion for many years that Bible prophecy is being fulfilled every day.
I believe God revealed hundreds of signs and told us to watch for them, not to scare people, but to cause people to be prepared.
How do we prepare?
Tomlin answers the question in “Jesus Messiah.”
Jesus was sinless, but He bore our sins in His own body to redeem sinners so God would account them (treat them as though) as righteous.
This is why Jesus is called the Messiah, the Redeemer, the Ransom from Heaven.
God’s love is amazing, and Jesus is our hope because His body was broken and His blood was shed on the cross (for those who accept Him as their Lord and Savior).

Here are some recent events that seem to indicate that the end of the age is near:
One, concerning wars and rumors of wars (and specifically the Battle of Gog of Magog): on Aug. 27, 2027, it was reported that:
- Sources familiar with the mission said the director of the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), John Ratcliffe, traveled to Moscow earlier this week in part to warn Russia not to attack countries belonging to the NATO military alliance.
- Ratcliffe reportedly also raised Iran during meetings in Moscow amid concerns about Russia’s close relationship with the Islamic Republic.
- Trump denied that this was the purpose of the trip.
More: On Sept. 1, 2026, it was reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin personally confirmed that he has ordered the Russian Armed Forces to launch massive strikes against Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. When asked, “Could British military industrial facilities, located in the UK, become legitimate targets? Putin replied, “That’s a military secret.”
More: On Sept. 1, 2026, the German government accused Russia of directing three drones to Leipzig/Halle Airport in the eastern town of Schkeuditz last month. Germany’s second-largest cargo airport serves as a key logistics hub for shipments bound for Ukraine. In response, the government announced that it is tightening restrictions on Russians entering the country, terminating the lease of a Russian cultural center in Berlin, and closing its last Russian consulate. The Kremlin denies responsibility.
Two, concerning hyper-inflation and an economic collapse during the Tribulation Period: on Aug. 17, 2027, Pres. Trump signed an executive order directing the federal government to rename Lake Ontario as “Lake America,” adding a symbolic but sharp new twist to a growing trade war between the United States and Canada.
Three, concerning great wickedness at the end of the age (like Days of Noah): on Aug. 31, 2026, a deranged woman used two large kitchen knives to stab and kill two women in broad daylight on the streets of NY City.
Sadly, the deceased women were minding their own business, and there appears to be no motive for the killings.
Four, concerning the rain returning to Israel at the end of the age: Israel has built several desalination plants, but Israel recently shut some of them down because unusually heavy rainfall caused high levels of sediment in the seawater that disrupted their filtration systems.
The desalination plants have been restarted.
Five, concerning the possibility of food shortages: on Sept. 2, 2026, the Hal Turner Radio Show said reports are starting to come in from people around the country (and up in Canada) saying they went to fuel up at their local gas station and encountered signs saying “No Gas” or, at some places, “No Diesel.”
Six, concerning the end of the age and the increase of knowledge: on Sept. 2, 2026, the Prophecy News Watch (PNW) Staff reported that:
- Vice President JD Vance made a remarkable comment that is certain to catch the attention of anyone who studies Bible prophecy.
- During a lengthy conversation with Christian podcaster Bryce Crawford, Vance discussed his lifelong fascination with the end times and admitted that he does not know whether we are actually living in the final days described in Scripture.
- But then he went further.
- There are things about the world that make me feel, like, not shocked if the Antichrist was walking among us, while cautioning that he tries not to become overly focused on such speculation.
- Vance pointed particularly to developments surrounding artificial intelligence, describing what he sees in parts of the technology world as having a strange spiritual darkness surrounding it.
Seven, concerning Rosh Hashanah: in 2026, the sun will set in Jerusalem at 6:48 PM Israel time, which is 11:48 AM Eastern Time, 10:48 Central Time, 9:48 Mountain Time, and 8:48 Pacific Time in the U.S.
Will the Rapture happen on this upcoming Rosh Hashanah?
Some good students of Bible prophecy think there is a good chance that it will.
It might, but we don’t know.
We just need to be ready in case it does.

- A Russian Submarine popped up off the coast of New York City, and immediately, the United States scrambled five (5) E-6 Doomsday Planes. Nothing happened, but there is speculation that Russia was sending a warning to the U.S. about the U.S. helping Ukraine.

- Gatestone Institute reported that Iranian cleric Mohammad Bagher Kharrazi — secretary-general of Iran’s proxy, Hezbollah, and closely tied to the current Supreme Leader said, “The only way to save the country… is building an atomic bomb and firing it. No other way is left for us…. We should create a tsunami whose waves hit the American coasts.” (A reader commented: In the ideology of Iran’s ruling establishment, nuclear weapons are still openly contemplated not just as a deterrent but as instruments of mass destruction. If an extremist regime acquires a nuclear weapon, the question is: What happens afterwards?”)
- A spokesperson for the U.S. State Dept. said, Hezbollah does not want to talk to the Lebanese state, to Washington or to Israel, because it is taking orders from Iran.

- Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has acknowledged that US sanctions are having a significant impact on Iran’s economy.
- The heads of the US armed forcesjointly warned US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth against continuing operations in Iran. One person familiar with the matter said that US military leadership believes that the war in Iran has been “too much for too long.”
- There are unconfirmed reports that Iran has launched missiles and drones at U.S. bases in the UAE and Jordan, and the U.S. is striking back.
- Amir Tsarfati reported that, “For the first time in a long time, the United States is attacking Iranian targets within Iranian territory.
- Trump said, “Kharg Island is being blown to smithereens.”
- The Iranian media reported that ten suspects accused of participating in Iran’s January protestshave been sentenced to death, and another six received prison sentences of up to 25 years.

- The Iranian military attacked a military base in the United Arab Emirates with drones.
- Trump confirmed that the U.S.-Iran war is resuming.
- An Iranian official said hostilities that flared overnight between the United States and Iran remain a “limited and contained confrontation.”
- S. Treasury Sec. Scott Bessent said (1) Iran must dismantle its nuclear program, (2) surrender its highly enriched uranium, (3) halt support for regional proxies and (4) reopen the Strait of Hormuz before Washington negotiates an end to its economic pressure campaign.
- Trump characterized the conflict with Iranas “a relatively little war” for the United States, dismissing concerns that a prolonged Middle East operation could impair Washington’s ability to address threats elsewhere.
- Iran struck a Saudi oil tanker with 3 anti-ship cruise missiles in the US-backed southern Omani corridor while completing an outbound transit in the Strait of Hormuz under US escort.
- The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, said that if the economic blockade against Iran continues, Iran will respond militarily.
- The U.S. is attacking Iran again in and near the Strait of Hormuz. Iran is retaliating.

- The US military struck two Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps(IRGC) tankers in the first direct retaliatory attack on Iranian ships since the beginning of the war. The move is part of a new “tanker for tanker” policy approved by Pres. Trump, and aims to further deter Iranian attacks on ships moving through the Strait of Hormuz.

Finally, are you Rapture Ready?
If you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, you must be born again (John 3:3). God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin-born, sinless Son of God, who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this.
