A friend of mine said I should be a little more encouraging in my writings. But having tried that in the past and pussyfooting around the grave subjects I write about, I eventually found that such issues should be left for churches to do, especially for those who can’t think for themselves or for those who prefer to live in the LaLa land of ignorance.

Churches today often neglect hard truths to the point of appearing to be a social club with cliques that only try to tickle your fancy, whatever that may be. Many churches today are nothing like what they should be, and God’s warnings or chastening are never mentioned. The Bible warned us that this day would come.

In the Old Testament books of Jeremiah and Daniel, followed up with New Testament books like Matthew and Revelation, we are told what to expect just before the rapture. Even Jesus spoke about the End Times, leaving no stone unturned. Many pastors/teachers today whitewash the truth with fairytales. And so, people today and Christians wonder what’s going on, what with war and rumors of war, flagrant corruption in high places, liars, criminals, pedophiles, and murderers abounding everywhere you look.

Leaders are on high alert.

President Trump has a red button on his desk, and the story is told that when Vice President JD Vance saw Trump tap on it at his desk, he was taken aback with shock. Before he could recover and say anything, a servant came into the room with a can of Diet Coke. The red button on the Resolute Desk was Trump’s way of ordering his favorite drink. Other leaders of countries also have a red button to push, which will ignite the final war – the war of Armageddon.

This will only happen after the preliminary war of Gog and Magog happens, which I believe is heating up today. (I personally feel that letting Iran off the hook in the middle of our war for freedom of terrorism worldwide was a grave mistake.) But God is in control, and He will continue to let the leaders of the nations make decisions that affect the rest of the world – until the time is right for Him to step in mightily.

Mankind is incapable of running nations without counsel from the Almighty, but how many do you think seek it? Sin is written into our genetic makeup: in other words, we are sinners who can only be guided by the Holy Spirit and be saved by God’s grace alone. All other plans and devices are futile.

Talking about perilous times, consider this: several nations in the world now have Nuclear Bombs ready for immediate use. Pakistan, India, North Korea, Russia, China, Turkey, America, and Israel all possess them, while Iran is still determined to have one to be able to destroy Israel (referred to as little Satan) and the US (referred to as big Satan), and to have world domination. In the upcoming Tribulation Period, it appears that there will be nuclear war to some extent. Many will choose death over suffering and fear during this time. Hard stuff, is it not? But Revelation 9:6 tells us that people will seek death and not find it.

When Jesus appears at the Second Coming at Armageddon, He will defeat the enemies of Israel with the words of His mouth. If Jesus did not intervene, there would not be a single person left alive on the globe. But before this, at a time when hate and retribution rule, someone in authority will finally push the red button in anger or defeat, and I believe Putin may very well be that man.

Book report:

Every once in a while, I like to look back to find out things I missed reading about or to assess what other writers are thinking on a certain subject. So, when I found the book Trump Revealed by Michael Kranish and Mark Fisher, I snapped it up. The book is an in-depth study of the man we made President of the United States, Donald J. Trump.

Some church leaders would say that we shouldn’t mix politics with religion, but haven’t they noticed that these two human conventions have fit hand in glove throughout human history?

Donald Trump, like the rest of us, is no angel, and to put man on a pedestal is a dangerous thing. There is a propensity for such a person to elevate themselves to demigod or, at the very least, tyrant.

The writers of this book warned Trump that they would tell it like it is concerning his life. At first, Trump resisted but then relented, and he was interviewed for about 20 hours total. At first glance, Trump was a model citizen, attending a military academy and excelling in sports. Albeit he wasn’t a reader or academic but relied on what others taught him – a very dangerous path indeed.

His mother was a Presbyterian, and his father followed her lead. Marble Collegiate Church was their family church; the head pastor was the same pastor who wrote The Power of Positive Thinking – Norman Vincent Peale.

In my book (Miracles, Peace and Power), I told of the vision I had in the middle of the day regarding Peale’s book and two others – namely Think and Grow Rich and Psycho Cybernetic in my possession. After a visual epiphany (which I detail in my book), God, in a moderate tone of voice, said, “Get these manmade philosophies and ideas out of your life and plant your feet firmly on the foundation Jesus Christ has already set.” That’s why today I don’t subscribe to anything man says about God not working today.

God still works miracles for those who worship him in spirit and in truth and are pleasing to Him. God is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
