On June 4, 2926, Hezbollah Sec.-Gen. Naim Qassem rejected a U.S.-brokered ceasefire framework between Israel and Lebanon.
Qassem said:
- Any ceasefire must include a complete halt to Israeli military activity by air, land, and sea, the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Lebanon, the return of displaced civilians, and reconstruction efforts.
- He described Lebanese sovereignty as the central objective and called for the Lebanese army to deploy south of the Litani River.
- He called direct negotiations with Israel a “farce.”
- He described the Washington framework as a “roadmap for the extermination of a segment of the Lebanese people,” and said Hezbollah would not accept terms requiring its fighters to withdraw while Israeli strikes continue.
- The rejection immediately cast doubt on the viability of the U.S.-mediated agreement, which had been welcomed by Lebanese President Joseph Aoun as a possible “last chance” to reach a comprehensive truce.
(My opinion: Pres. Trump is trying to produce a Middle East Peace Treaty. There will eventually be a weak treaty that will get strengthened by the Antichrist. But there will not be peace in the Middle East until the Second Coming of Jesus.)
(Update: On June 10, 2026, Pakistan notified the U.S. that it will no longer try to mediate a ceasefire between the U.S. and Iran.)
(Update: On June 10, 2026, U.S. Sec. of War said the U.S. is striking Iran again to try to force the Iranians back to the negotiating table.)
(Update: On June 10, 2026, a senior Iranian cleric called on Muslims worldwide to attack U.S. interests, saying that waging jihad against the “infidel enemy” was a religious obligation “for anyone capable of carrying it out.”)
Here are some recent events that seem to indicate that the end of the age is near:
One, concerning the U.S.-Iran war: on June 5, 2026, William Koenig wrote:
For all the optimism coming from the White House, the reality on the ground suggests that the United States and Iran are no closer to a meaningful agreement today than they were two months ago.
Consider the timeline.
- The ceasefire and de-escalation efforts that began in early April have now produced nearly eight weeks of negotiations.
- Yet there is little tangible evidence of progress. Instead, Iran appears increasingly emboldened.
- This has long been part of Tehran’s negotiating strategy.
- Iranian leaders understand that time often works in their favor.
- They prolong discussions, create new conditions, introduce additional demands, and seek to wear down their adversaries while advancing their strategic objectives.
- Rather than moderating its position, Iran has become more defiant.
- Iranian officials continue to insist that uranium enrichment remains non-negotiable.
- They have repeatedly stated that they will not surrender what they describe as their sovereign nuclear rights.
Two, concerning the Israel-Iran war: on June 5, 2026, William Koenig wrote:
- Israeli leaders have consistently warned that prolonged negotiations without meaningful restrictions on Iran’s nuclear program only increase the threat to Israel’s national security.
- From Jerusalem’s perspective, Iran continues to strengthen its position while preserving the core elements of its nuclear infrastructure.
- Israeli officials remain concerned that Tehran is using diplomacy to buy time, improve its strategic posture, and rebuild capabilities that were weakened during previous confrontations.
- At the same time, Israel faces threats on multiple fronts. Hezbollah remains entrenched in Lebanon. Iranian-backed militias continue to operate throughout Syria and Iraq.
- The Houthis remain active in Yemen.
- Hamas continues to pose challenges in Gaza.
- Israeli planners view these groups not as separate entities but as components of a broader Iranian regional strategy.
- The longer negotiations continue without a clear resolution, the greater the possibility that Israel may conclude that independent action is necessary to protect its security interests.
- While Israeli leaders strongly prefer cooperation with the United States, they have repeatedly stated that they will not allow Iran to acquire a nuclear weapons capability.
Three, concerning the U.S-Iran war: on June 6, 2026, an article by Dr. Majid Rafizadeh (a political scientist and Harvard-educated analyst), in the Gatestone Institute, says:
- In the midst of ongoing diplomatic efforts and an ostensible truce, Iran launched missile and drone strikes on Kuwait and Bahrain — countries not even remotely involved in its conflict with Israel and the US — and then revealed that it signed a $25 billion nuclear deal with Russia.
- Striking them deliberately during a ceasefire appears just part of Iran’s blackmail plan to have its neighbors press US Pres. Trump to permanently end military action against Iran, so that Iran will not attack their oilfields.
- The Iranian regime has repeatedly shown that when it comes to achieving its goals, it has no red lines.
- In 2026 — not even half over — Iran has targeted multiple Gulf states, Israel, and US bases with countless missiles and drones, causing civilian casualties across the region.
- This is in addition to reportedly murdering more than 40,000 of its own citizens just in January, as well as decades of murderous terrorist attacks against Americans.
- Deals, to Iran’s regime, are about getting money to rebuild its military and its nuclear weapons program.
- Iran’s regime views attacks and expansion as a way to keep on inflicting more attacks and expansion.
- The coming weeks will be critical in determining whether diplomacy can produce verifiable results or whether Israel begins preparing for a more assertive course of action.
(My opinion: The great negotiator – Pres. Trump – is being out-negotiated. His demands and solutions will always be rejected.)
Four, concerning an increase in wars and rumors of wars (and the use of drugs) at the end of the age, on June 6, 2026:
- The United States carried out an air strike upon a port in Ecuador.
- At least six vessels in and near the port were set on fire.
- The U.S. called the port a narcotics shipping facility.
Here are some war reports as they came in from the U.S. and Israel:
The U.S. calls its attacks Operation Epic Fury.
Israel calls its attacks Operation Roaring Lion.
Thur. Day 97 (June 4, 2026) (Day 44 of Trump’s latest ceasefire extension)
- Hal Turner said, “I’ve gotten swamped with communications today telling me that U.S. West Coast Distillate Inventories are plunging, and some folks telling me California is about 4 weeks away from having no Diesel or Aviation fuel.
Fri. Day 98 (June 5, 2026) (Day 45 of Trump’s latest ceasefire extension)
- I didn’t record anything for this day.
Sat. Day 99 (June 6, 2026) (Day 46 of Trump’s latest ceasefire extension)
- S. forces struck Iranian coastal radar sites after intercepting drones and missiles launched by Iran toward Arab Gulf states.
- Israeli airstrikes in southern Lebanon killed at least nine people.
Sun. Day 100 (June 7, 2026) (Day 47 of Trump’s latest ceasefire extension)
- Trump’s top counterterrorism adviser confirmed that U.S. and Nigerian forces killed 199 suspected terrorists and seized massive new evidence about ISIS extremists during a recent secret mission deep in Africa.
- Iran fired about 10 missiles toward northern Israel.
- Israel attacked Beirut, Lebanon.
Mon. Day 101 (June 8, 2026) (Day 48 of Trump’s latest ceasefire extension)
- Iran fired more than 20 ballistic missiles at Israel, as the IDF warned the renewed conflict could last several days and intensify further.
- Israel struck several targets throughout western Iran.
Tues. Day 102 (June 9, 2026) (Day 49 of Trump’s latest ceasefire extension)
- Trump said the U.S. will declare “total victory” over Iran within two weeks. He said Iran’s negotiators are willing to give the US everything.
- Vice-Pres. Vance said the US intends to secure a long-term deal with Iran, and that, while those interests may overlap with Israel’s, any deal with Iran is intended to promote America’s interests above all. The US will secure a deal even in opposition to Israel.
- Iran’s top negotiator said we don’t think he (Pres.) is honest.
- The U.S. launched what it called “self-defense strikes” against Iranian targets after a U.S. Army Apache helicopter was downed near the Strait of Hormuz. Iran vowed to retaliate.
- Israel’s Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir warned that Israel remains fully prepared to resume operations against Iran, saying the military’s recent strike inside the Islamic Republic was only preparation for a far heavier blow if Tehran attacks Israel again.
Wed. Day 103 (June 10, 2026) (Day 50 of Trump’s latest ceasefire extension) (13 days from the day Pres. Trump will declare total victory over Iran)
- Iran directly rejects today’s claim circulating throughout the mass media that Iran sent a new draft peace proposal to the US, saying “no such proposal exists,” due to the suspension of talks with the US, per Fars News Agency.
- Iran retaliated against the U.S. for its “self-defense” strikes against Iran, and the U.S. struck Iran again.
- Turkish Pres. Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Israel’s attacks on Syria and Lebanonhad reached a point where they also threaten Turkey, adding Israel’s “aggression” posed a threat to the whole world and must be stopped. “Israel’s aggression threatens the entire world. If the rights of Turks or Turkish Cypriots are harmed in the Middle East – our response will be unequivocal and strong.” (My comment: This has implications for the destruction of Damascus in one night and for the Battle of Gog of Magog.)
- Israel’s Prime Min. Netanyahu said the antisemitic dictator Erdoğan, who is committing genocide against the Kurds, supports the Hamas terrorist organization, oppresses his own people, and imprisons political rivals, is the last person who can lecture the State of Israel on morality.
- The U.S. has begun another round of attacks upon Iran. Sec. of War Hegseth said it’s on tonight, and from new intel, it will be huge. He went on to say we used the ceasefire period to expand our intelligence picture and refresh the target bank inside Iran.
- Trump warned that Iran has “taken too long” to negotiate an agreement with the United States and said Tehran will now “have to pay the price.”
- The US called on its citizens in Iraq to leave immediately.
- Israel is attacking Iran.
- Iran declared the Strait of Hormuz fully closed.
Thurs. Day 104 (June 11, 2026) (Day 51 of Trump’s latest ceasefire extension) (12 days from the day Pres. Trump will declare total victory over Iran)
- Hamas is not agreeing to disarm. It is bargaining. The notion that Hamas would voluntarily surrender the means that allow it to dominate the Gaza Strip, intimidate Palestinians, and wage jihad (holy war) against Israel is detached from reality. Hamas did not spend decades building a military infrastructure, digging tunnels, stockpiling rockets, and indoctrinating generations of Palestinians only to hand over its weapons because mediators asked politely.
- Pres. Trump said the truce with Tehran, which he extended indefinitely on April 21 to allow for further negotiations, was “the most violated ceasefire in the history of the world.”
- The Iranian regime rejected a Qatari proposal to hold direct talks with the United States to bridge outstanding differences.
- Pres. Trump said at some point in the not-too-distant future, we will be taking Kharg Island and other oil infrastructure points.
Finally, are you Rapture Ready?
If you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, you must be born again (John 3:3). God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin-born, sinless Son of God, who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this.
