Clueless in Washington
Well, Steve Witkoff said this week that he was TOLD by Hamas that they would disarm, and because they haven’t, he’s bewildered.
The level of stupidity and gullibility in our nation’s leadership is staggering. The Democrats might be duplicitous, but are Republicans really that stupid?
Not allowing Israel to finish the job was bad enough. Now this. Witkoff’s confusion—if it’s genuine—is stupefying.
There are also reports that the Iranians have left a threatening message in the car of an Israeli nuclear scientist (remember: Israel kills their counterparts) and this is a real escalation on the part of the enemy.
And just why can they threaten Israeli scientists? Because the Americans left the evil regime in place in Tehran. Very difficult to come to terms with a group that comes right up to the edge of eliminating a huge threat—and backs off at the last minute. There could have been historic regime change in Iran, but they will now simply rebuild their nuclear facilities.
Because our leaders do not have a true biblical worldview, this kind of thing will continue to the end.
Add to this the growing calls by Israeli media for an investigation into October 3 failures…and you’ve got enemies within and without trying to take down the Netanyahu government.
I’m not saying there shouldn’t be questions asked and answered, but Israeli media (except for outlets like Israel Hayom) is as left-wing as ours. You have to wonder about journalists that want to cause problems for their own country.
I hate to keep throwing dizzying fastballs at you, but they are coming at all of us. A report tells us that The European Union intends to train a Palestinian “security force” for the Gaza Strip. Obviously, this is like asking Bonnie and Clyde’s family to disarm them and keep the peace.
“An Israeli civilian was killed in a combined vehicular ramming and stabbing attack at the Gush Etzion Junction; the two terrorists who carried out the attack were shot and killed. Israeli security forces continued counterterrorism activity in Judea and Samaria, eliminating two terrorists who killed a civilian and IDF soldiers and a terrorist who served in the Palestinian police; three others were detained.
“The Palestinian Authority prime minister said implementing the required reforms was expected to last about two and a half years, but most would be completed in the coming year. An investigation revealed that the Palestinian Authority continues paying the families of prisoners and terrorists who had been killed despite its public commitment to stop.”
At this point, I don’t know how the Israelis would react if true peace broke out. Being in a constant state of war for almost 80 years is bizarre in the extreme. But I want you to note that the Bible tells us that people that are far from God do not have wisdom. They make decisions that are counter to reality and good sense.
The worst part right now is to realize that leaders you worked hard to elect are clueless when it comes to the Middle East.
Maybe our Christmas present will be the appearance of our Lord. I—we—look forward to an end to the global madness.
