I have included a special message at the end of this article for those who have reached that point where the burden of evidence that the world is spinning out of control is overwhelming. I hope you will read and take to heart what God requires in order to give His free gift of eternal life, as He has declared is His will for all who trust in Him.
“The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9). Emphasis added.
We are deeply into the time that the Word of God warns of in numerous verses that indicate that the deranged human conduct prophesied in the Scriptures would become entrenched in the “last days.”
This quick search notes 35 examples of God’s warnings about this. Most are related to denial of Spiritual Truth but also apply to the embracing of lies. Over time, this will result in human hearts becoming so hardened to Truth that it eventually becomes impossible to repent and thus experience peace in any sphere of human existence. (See 2 Thessalonians 2:10)
35 Bible Verses About Deception in the Last Days – Bible Repository
Failure to heed the warnings in the above verses will draw people away from the Truth of Jesus Christ.
“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life’” (John 14:6a). Emphasis added.
The below flagship verses, if you will, appear twice in the Book of Psalms. They specifically address individual unbelief and clearly state the reason why we are surrounded by the present avalanche of the real-time consequences of denying God:
“A Psalm of David. The fool has said in his heart, ‘There is no God’” (Psalms 14:1a and 53:1a).
No doubt, unless you have made a successful effort to evade reality, you cannot deny the unease caused by the cold-blooded deployment of outright lies and obfuscations everywhere we look. I don’t mean truth that is called lies by evil humans, but the fulfillment of the prophesied evil that is willfully and gleefully substituted for Truth:
“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil,
who turn darkness to light and light to darkness,
who replace bitter with sweet and sweet with bitter.
Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes
and clever in their own sight” (Isaiah 5:20-21).
It’s not just in America; it is worldwide, and God is aware of all of it, and any people who make a practice of it.
Depending on the version of the Bible you might read, the net result is the same.
“They are corrupt, They have done abominable works, There is none who does good” (Psalms 14:1b and 53:1b).
“For not a word they speak can be trusted; destruction lies within them.
Their throats are open graves; their tongues practice deceit” (Psalm 5:9).
God has already declared the Truth of this man-centric weakness of which we are all guilty, or have been guilty at one or more times in our lives:
“God is not a man, that He should lie, or a son of man, that He should change His mind. Does He speak and not act? Does He promise and not fulfill?” (Numbers 23:19)
Why is this unsettling characteristic so true of us?
“The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?” (Jeremiah 17:9)
Is it unfair (not that God is even capable of “unfair”) to say this of every human being? Well, as a concrete example: What do we see in the rearing of children? Do we need to teach them to lie? No, it comes quite naturally to them. Instead, we have to teach them to tell the truth, sometimes accompanied by a little discomfort for them (and for us) in the process (such as a lockable cookie jar).
And so, God, who will ever be true to Himself, must adjudicate honestly:
“Declare them guilty, O God; let them fall by their own devices.
Drive them out for their many transgressions, for they have rebelled against You” (Psalm 5:10).
Warfare: As time advances and information becomes more prolific, we find ourselves wondering how much, if any, of what we have seen and/or been told is factual. If any portion of a narrative contains even the tiniest lie or the intentional omission of facts, the entire thing becomes a lie.
- Was the attack on Pearl Harbor truly not known in advance?
- Was the Gulf of Tonkin attack real or staged?
- Was 911 actually a “surprise”?
Lawfare: This weaponized monster has truly reared its ugly head in the last several years and has almost developed a life of its own. It is especially evil in that honest reasons for litigation must be revealed to have a solid foundation of truth. Instead, today it is mired in lies and accusations deliberately created in order to bring about a stalemate or dismissal: A complete mockery of justice.
No country governed as a Republic can survive these kinds of unethical behaviors.
Financial Ruin. This, I believe, is the real strategy behind lawfare. Every time a frivolous lawsuit is filed, it results in massive expenses without regard to merit or justice served by the outcome. The huge number of dishonest lawyers and judges in what’s left of the justice system is obvious, and they are fueling the destruction.
Lawfare is an equal opportunity destroyer. People, businesses, and governments – even ones that print money as the American government does – will reap the consequences of unbridled lawfare. This evil must eventually “break the bank” even when the banks are already broken, as I believe is the carefully masked reality.
I believe the somewhat murky “cabal,” referred to as the “globalists” (World Economic Forum, et al?), employ that as their primary strategy, but I don’t think they really understand who they are really working for and will be given over to, unless they are able to repent before their hearts are irrevocably hardened, but that is unlikely. And they certainly don’t comprehend Who they are opposing.
We have all heard it said that “money is power,” and we have all seen what happens to so many people when they have attained vast wealth. The internet is loaded with examples of this aberrant behavior, most notably by politicians, actors, actresses, and pro-sports figures. It beggars belief, or it did at one time in the past.
In many cases, the Bible that so many of them deride is only a source of virtue signaling (mis)quotes made with no regard to context, but ignore ones like these:
“In that day men will cast away to the moles and bats their idols of silver and gold— the idols they made to worship. They will flee to caverns in the rocks and crevices in the cliffs, away from the terror of the LORD and from the splendor of His majesty, when He rises to shake the earth” (Isaiah 2:20-21).
“Will your courage endure or your hands be strong in the day I deal with you? I the LORD have spoken, and I will do it” (Ezekiel 22:14).
Now to the crux of this article.
“Every kingdom divided against itself is laid waste; and a house divided against itself falls” (Luke 11:17).
In these tumultuous days when apostasy skyrockets and God’s Word is so often denied or misrepresented even in so-called evangelical churches, there is a marked increase in self-proclaimed followers of Christ who occupy high-profile blog spaces or political positions. Many evidence strong indications that they may not truly be Christians, as they fail to understand the Sovereignty of God and ignore or cherry-pick His Word. That is not an option. It is all or nothing.
God is not undecided or confused: People are.
Based on this, in that it is impossible for God to lie (Hebrews 6:18), this lack of understanding evidences that many of these people are allowing men’s philosophies or “opinions” to pollute the Word of the God they claim to believe in.
I say this because Jesus Himself promised true believers the gift of indwelling by the Holy Spirit. And the Holy Spirit IS God.
“Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift the Father promised, which you have heard Me discuss. For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit” (Acts 1:4-5). Emphasis added.
“However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come” (John 16:13). Emphasis added.
The accuracy of already fulfilled prophecy is incontrovertible proof of His Sovereign Power and Authority.
As the end of the age of man’s (God permitted) failed self-governance approaches, He is clearly preparing to execute the Rapture of the Church and commence the judgments of (Revelation 4:1 and beyond) – we must not lose focus on our Savior and His Words to us.
“For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy” (Revelation 19:10).
“But let all who take refuge in You rejoice; let them ever shout for joy” Psalm 5:11).
The special message I promised you:
For anyone who may read this article and has not trusted in Jesus Christ and therefore has no real hope or peace in your life.
You can have hope. You can have the peace that Jesus has promised to all who have made Him their Lord and Savior. The peace that passes understanding.
It requires that you come before God on His terms and that you do so in your living years.
And, what are His terms according to His Word?
- Genuine repentance (turning to God instead of continuing to reject or ignore Him).
- Confession of sins (that you are a sinner and acknowledge that to God).
- That you understand that the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23).
- To acknowledge to God that you are unable to pay that debt.
- Belief that Jesus Christ paid your death sentence for you on the cross and rose from the grave three days later, conquering death, just as He promised.
- To believe that Jesus is the Way, the only Way, that God has established by which humans may be saved from the consequences of their sin and rebellion.
God has made it absolutely clear that there is no one who comes before Him, under His terms, that will be refused.
- No one: no race, no color, no country of origin, regardless of any previous belief system: no one.
- No matter what your past sins have been, God can and WILL forgive you because He says He will.
- Salvation is available to everyone without any exceptions.
If you put all your trust for salvation in Jesus, and Him only, you can follow that prayer up by simply saying “Thank you Father God for hearing my prayer and saving me,” because we can trust Him to keep His Word. He always has. He always will.
“Truly, Truly, I say to you that he who hears My words and believes the One who sent Me has eternal life and will not be condemned. He has crossed from death to life” (John 5:24).
There are no answers and there is no hope in the world by governments, organizations, politics or politicians. There are only lies and deception. But you can have the Truth and the peace you seek.
The answers are in the Word of God—The Bible. If you ask God, with all your heart, He will hear you.
“And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart” (Jeremiah 29:13).
