The Murray County Jail in Georgia is one of 6 area jails that Bibles Behind Bars supplies with King James Bible, scripture portions, and Christian literature. The other day, Pastor Rick Spence sent us the photo you see at the top of this article, with the exciting news that their ministry team preached in 7 cells, recording 9 professions of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. We have sent thousands of Bibles to the various jails and prisons in Georgia, and Lord willing, will continue to do so while the Lord gives us this open door. The Gospel Truth Jail Ministry is a coalition of pastors, active and retired chaplains and men and women volunteers who have a burden to reach the lost behind bars. What we do is keep the supply lines open – Bibles, books and tracts – so that these gospel workers can get something done for the Lord. I don’t have crypto, a 401K, IRAs, precious metals or any other such like because I am investing everything I have in getting the gospel out to see souls saved, and saved people set on fire for God. Over in Kerrville, Texas, Pastor Cody and his team are preparing for their Big Day on August 9th with a community outreach for the victims of that mindboggling flood that did such damage to their area. We have already sent them 1,000 Bibles, along with enough school supplies to fill 400 kid’s backpacks, and in each pack a beautiful kid’s and teens Bible. This is big, really big, and it’s costing us right around $12,500 to do all that. We need your help with all of it.
