The Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola is America’s largest maximum-security facility and they are asking us for King James Bibles and other Christian reading material
Though its early history was marked by hardship and controversy, the Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola has, over time, become a remarkable story of transformation and redemption. Once notorious for violence and despair, Angola has evolved into a place where faith, discipline, and hard work have brought about real change in the lives of many inmates. It’s the largest maximum-security facility in America, and today they reached out to us in need of King James Bibles and Christian literature. What a blessing it is to stand in the gap for them and help keep the supply lines open.
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJB)
Samuel McKay is the Mental Health Director at Angola, and he wrote to us and said this “This is America’s largest maximum-security prison. We have a large population residing within cell blocks, many who are not able to attend ministries and fellowship alongside other inmates; or have access to religious activities. We visit with these inmates, and many request the mental health team for bibles. I came across your information and am asking for whatever resources available to assist us with distributing bibles to this population.” I hope you have Holy Spirit bumps running down your arm as you read this, because I sure do writing it. How amazing is it, Christian, that the LORD is using all of us in this way to meet the need for His preserved word in these end times? We need your help, come join us!

When you contribute to this fundraising effort, you are helping us to do what the Lord called us to do. The money you send in goes primarily to the overall daily operations of this site. When people ask for Bibles, we send them out at no charge. When people write in and say how much they would like gospel tracts but cannot afford them, we send them a box at no cost to them for either the tracts or the shipping, no matter where they are in the world. We have a Gospel Billboard program. We are now broadcasting Bible studies, Podcasts and a Sunday Service 5 times a week, thanks to your generous donations. All this is possible because YOU pray for us, YOU support us, and YOU give so we can continue growing.
But whatever you do, don’t do nothing. Time is short and we need your help right now. The Lord has given us an open door with a tremendous ‘course’ for us to fulfill that will create an excellent experience at the Judgement Seat of Christ. Please pray for our efforts, and if the Lord leads you to donate, be as generous as possible. The war is REAL, the battle HOT and the time is SHORT…TO THE FIGHT!!!
