Lecornu, France’s fifth PM in less than two years, had been tasked with convincing the country — and investors — that he can get a 2026 budget over the line. He was installed in early September against a backdrop of public unrest and dissatisfaction over the messy state of French affairs. Several successive governments had failed to pass budgets detailing spending cuts and tax rises. Speaking after the resignation, Lecornu said “each political party is behaving as if they have their own majority in parliament” and that the “conditions were not fulfilled” to stay in office. Netflix in Crisis as Subscribers Flee Over Woke Kids Shows 
Parents across the country are canceling Netflix after revelations that the streaming giant promotes sexual content and pushes radical left gender ideology through shows made for kids. The uproar began after the popular social media account Libs of TikTok posted a clip from “Dead End: Paranormal Park,” a Netflix cartoon rated TV-Y7 (for kids aged seven and older) that follows a gay, Jewish, transgender boy who runs away from home after his grandmother rejects his “identity.” He then waxes poetic about the importance of “living your life without apology.”

NASA Rover Appears to Catch Photo of Mysterious Interstellar Object From Surface of Mars
As predicted, interstellar object 3I/ATLAS came within spitting distance of the surface of Mars as it continued blazing its path through the solar system. The mysterious object, widely believed to be a comet, is only the third object from beyond the solar system to have ever been identified as it cruises through. It’s fascinated scientists ever since it was first observed in early July. NASA’s Mars Perseverance rover has seemingly managed to snap images of the errant visitor as it made its flyby of the Red Planet. Two pictures, shared by the space agency over the weekend after being captured by Perseverance’s Right Navigation camera (Navcam), show a singular streak contrasted against the emptiness of space around it.

ICEJ hosts hundreds of Christians in Israel for Oct 7 remembrance as Gaza ceasefire looms 
Hundreds of Christians from around the world are gathering in Israel’s south to commemorate the second anniversary of Hamas’ Oct. 7 attacks in southern Israel, joining local communities near the Gaza border as the country awaits a potential ceasefire to end the two-year war. More than 600 Christian visitors from over 50 countries are taking part in a special remembrance ceremony on Monday at Sapir College, close to some of the hardest-hit communities during the 2023 massacre. Greg Abbott posted a picture on social media showing National Guard members from his state boarding a plane, but he didn’t specify where they were going.

Trump Says He May Invoke The Insurrection Act
President Trump declared Monday that he may invoke the Insurrection Act in order to restore law and order to American cities in the face of violent riots and attacks against law enforcement officers, including ICE. Trump was asked directly about invoking the Insurrection Act of 1807—a rarely used federal law that empowers the president to deploy U.S. military forces domestically to suppress insurrections, rebellions, or domestic violence when local authorities are unable or unwilling to maintain order. The Act bypasses typical restrictions on military use for civilian policing and has been invoked only about 30 times in U.S. history, most recently during the 1992 Los Angeles riots.
