In August 1572 in France, the greatest terrorist attack that ever happened began and continued into October of that year. An estimated 20,000 people were killed, a death toll 7 times as deadly as the 9-11 terror attack. It began at midnight on August 23-24 in Paris, France. These terrorists were not Muslims; they were Jesuits, whose purpose is the propagation of the Catholic faith by any means possible.” They wore black armbands to tell who were their own. The signal for them to attack the Protestants was when the bells rang at the Church of Saint-Germain 1 Auxerrois near the Louvre Palace, which was the church where the King of France attended.
The Jesuit terrorists led the charge by killing Protestant leaders. And then the rank & file Catholics in Paris joined in Bartholomew’s Massacre. The Jesuits were the terrorists of the Middle Ages – Medieval times. The bodies of the terror victims were collected and thrown into the Seine River. That made the river blood red like the Nile River of Egypt, as in the time of Moses. Even the women and children were savagely murdered, bodies mutilated or burned.
Chains blocked the streets so that Protestants couldn’t escape from their homes. The death toll of this terrorist attack was anywhere from 5,000 to 70,000, as estimated by a Huguenot, Maximilien de Bethune, who was almost killed by these terrorists, as was the British Ambassador, Sir Francis Walsingham. The most common estimate of the death toll is 20,000.
Pope Gregory XIII designated SEPTEMBER 11, 1572, as the commemoration of the Battle of Lepanto and the Slaughter of the Huguenots. People in Protestant countries were horrified by the terrorist attack. Even Russia’s Tsar Ivan the Terrible was horrified by the carnage.

“The extra violence inflicted on many of the corpses was not random at all, but patterned after Catholic culture that had given birth to it. Many of the Protestant houses were BURNED, invoking the tradition of purification by fire of all heretics. Many victims were also thrown in the Seine, invoking the purification of water of Catholic baptism.”
As a result, many French Protestants fled to Switzerland, Holland, Germany, and England. Those were the only free countries in Europe.
Napoleon said this of the Jesuits: “The Jesuits are a military organization, not a religious order.”
Here is what President Abraham Lincoln said about the Jesuits:
“Is it not an absurdity to give to a man a thing which he is sworn to hate, curse, and destroy? And does not the Church of Rome hate, curse, and destroy liberty of conscience whenever she can do it safely? I am for liberty of conscience in its noblest, broadest, highest sense. But I cannot give liberty of conscience to the Pope and his followers, the Papists, so long as they tell me, through all their councils, theologians, and their canon laws that their conscience orders them to burn my wife, strangle my children, and cut my throat when they find their opportunity! This does not seem to be understood by the people today. But sooner or later, the light of common sense will make it clear to every one that no liberty of conscience can be granted to men who are sworn to obey a Pope, who pretends to have the right to put to death those who differ from him in religion.”
Are the Jesuits still a terrorist group today?
The website Berean Beacon discusses Who Are the Jesuits, and Should You Be Concerned Today? The article can be summed up by this statement: “Jesuits are just as influential and menacing today as they were 500 years ago.”
As we approach the 24th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attack, we’re reminded of the similarity between the Jesuits’ Catholic agenda and the Islamic terrorists’ agenda. Both agendas demand world takeover for their cause, by any means possible.
I wonder if Abraham Lincoln were alive today, what he would say about Iran, Ayatollahs (Shia Popes), Muslims, and Mullahs. He would not likely allow Muslim migration into America after seeing the horrible effects of Muslim migration into Europe, with all the terror attacks, rapes, and other violence.
Please accept Jesus now as your Lord and Savior so that you can avoid the horrors of the Great Tribulation.
