The Jerusalem Post reports: “US President Donald Trump will pull the US out of UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization), The New York Post reported on Tuesday.
The New York Post said that Trump seeks to leave the UN body due to its ‘anti-America and anti-Israel leanings,’ as well as ‘its woke agenda.’
In February, Trump ordered a 90-day review of America’s presence in UNESCO, which specifically focused on probing ‘any antisemitic or anti-Israel sentiment within the organization.’
A White House official told The New York Post that Trump administration officials took issue with UNESCO’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) policies, along with pro-Palestinian and pro-China stances…”
