Roman Catholics cannot claim the title of Christian.
Those who think that they can do not understand the Gospel.
There is a reason that Catholicism has persecuted Christians since the Great Schism of 1054. Its minions, at the behest of their popes and clergy, warred against Christians in virulent hatred for centuries. They imprisoned, tortured, and burned them due to their confessions that refuted the false doctrine their popes were teaching.
The reason they stopped martyring Christians is because the number of Protestants grew beyond their ability to make war with them.
A Christian is defined as one who believes and confesses that Christ died for our sins. Belief in and confession of these five words is of:
FIRST IMPORTANCE (I Corinthians 15:3).
Please let that sink in.
That means all other Scripture related to Christ is of, at best, second importance.
This Gospel is the foundation of our faith. It is only five words, so it should be very difficult to twist and obscure. If we build upon this foundation, our faith is strong and secure. If we fail to build upon this foundation, our faith is weak or non-existent.
Like building a house on a poor foundation. Sooner or later, it is going to fall.
Those who believe and confess that Christ died for our sins understand that this confession means we are saved by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9). It is through this confession that we receive the gift of faith, are granted repentance, and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
That is why the five words of the Gospel are of:
FIRST IMPORTANCE.
Only through this confession of Christ do we learn the true nature of love, how to discern truth, and how to behave righteously. God’s gift of faith is what separates us from the world.
It is this confession that led the popes to martyr millions of Christians throughout the centuries.
Catholics are not allowed to confess that Christ died for our sins. Those who do are considered ‘anathema’ according to the ‘holy convocations’ of the Roman Catholic Church (RCC). Therefore, Catholics are denied the gift of faith, are not granted repentance, and do not receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
And Roman Catholics are of no value to us when we are engaged in spiritual battle against the enemy.
Any Catholic who confesses that Christ died for our sins will either fall away from the faith (if they remain in the RCC) or leave the RCC.
Those Catholics who do not believe and confess the Gospel can only ‘ape’ a Christian; they cannot become one as long as they remain Roman Catholic.
Their leaders often speak of ‘love,’ but it is a Gospel-less love that is nothing more than sentimentality. Our love comes from faith in Christ, and that faith comes as a gift from God in accordance with our confession of the Gospel.
In other words, if your confession is false, your love is false.
According to Pope Leo, he advises, “It is never a question of capturing others by force, by religious propaganda, or by means of power. Instead, it is always and only a question of loving as Jesus did.”
Yeah, good luck with that. Let me know when you develop the strength of character to hang on a cross, while bearing the sins of the world, after being unjustly brutalized and humiliated, and look down on your tormenters and say, “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.”
I can get the pope’s notion of ‘love’ from any LGBT activist.
Leo continued, “Let us build a church founded on God’s love, a sign of unity, a missionary church that opens its arms to the world, proclaims the word, allows itself to be made ‘restless’ by history, and becomes a leaven of harmony for humanity.”
I have a better idea. How about building a church founded on the Gospel. When we as the church do that, we testify that Christ died for our sins and call sinners to repent and be forgiven in the name of Jesus. That quote above from the pope is filled with platitudes.
Finally, the good pope continued with this gem of wisdom that had the world swooning.
“Leo asserted that the Church must serve as a “small leaven of unity,” engaging with all individuals, regardless of faith. Leo said, “Brothers and sisters, this is the hour for love! The heart of the Gospel is the love of God that makes us brothers and sisters. With my predecessor Leo XIII, we can ask ourselves today: ‘If this criterion were to prevail in the world, would not every conflict cease and peace return?’”
No, Mr. Leo, it would not. The heart of the Gospel is that Christ died for our sins. What makes us brothers and sisters is our confession of Christ. If the world were to believe and confess the Gospel, then peace would prevail.
Peace and harmony do not come through phony expressions of love.
If Roman Catholics were honest, they would have to admit that there is no such thing as a pope in the Christian faith. If someone wants to claim that the pope just means ‘Bishop of Rome,’ a little research will demonstrate that he does not meet the biblical qualifications of a Bishop (I Timothy 3:1-7).
Prior to 313 A.D., the church of Rome was just one of many churches planted around the Roman Empire. When Constantine came to power and had an obscure ‘vision,’ he elevated the Roman Church above all others.
Constantine was an administrator. If he was going to control the church, he would have to centralize its authority to make it more manageable.
The first pope to begin to expand papal supremacy was Damasus (a.k.a. The ladies’ ear tickler). When the previous bishop of Rome died, a competitor arose for this position named Ursinus. Ursinus did not fare very well.
Damasus instigated a riot in which 137 people were killed in an effort to eliminate his competitors. The turmoil was so bad that Emperor Valentinian I had to intervene to uphold order. Damasus was then able to use his political connections to be appointed to the coveted position of pope.
Peter would have been appalled by this process and would have had nothing to do with it.
When Jesus issued his ‘Seven Woes’ to the Pharisees, it was as if he were talking to the popes (Matthew 23:1-36). Read it yourself and, if you are honest, you will begin to see a very powerful correlation between the Pharisees and the popes.
For example:
- They place numerous rules upon their congregations but seldom make the effort to discipline or eject their numerous child molesters.
- They love the honor of being called “Holy Father” even though this is blasphemous.
- They are exalted by much of the world, which is a huge red flag, even though they forbid the preaching of the Gospel.
- They shut the kingdom of heaven in men’s faces by denying them the path of salvation, which is believing and confessing that Christ died for our sins.
- They travel the world to convert people and deceive them into believing they are saved from the wrath of God.
- The Vatican is beautiful on the outside, but inside is full of dead men’s bones. They even allow themselves to be successfully lobbied by the LGBT in the Vatican itself.
- The spiritual predecessors of the RCC have murdered Christians just as the spiritual predecessors of the Pharisees murdered the prophets.
By the way, when the word ‘Woe’ is used, and you are engaged in the activity to which it is applied, it means you are in really big trouble.
So, what do we know about Pope Leo XIV?
Well, we know that he is in favor of illegal immigration, so we know he is a big supporter of lawlessness. Illegal immigration leads to a significant rise in crime, enriching the demonic cartels so they can buy corrupt politicians, child and sex trafficking, social upheaval due to ‘migrants’ refusal to assimilate, and is expensive to the taxpayers who are citizens.
It also allows unscrupulous politicians (a.k.a. Godless Democrats) to cheat in elections by counting them in the census and purchasing their votes. Corrupt politicians are thriving worldwide due to this form of mayhem.
I wonder if Pope Leo knows that.
The evil Globalists are wedded to the strategy of causing upheaval in every nation to make it more amenable to a totalitarian world government. This is especially true in Western nations. Illegal immigration is an important tool they are currently using to bring this about.
I wonder if Pope Leo knows that.
We also know that Leo is a firm believer in the pagan myth of climate change. This is the key ideology the evil Globalists plan to use to institute a worldwide totalitarian government while causing the faithless to acquiesce to their demands.
I wonder if Pope Leo knows that.
The pope’s confession of this nonsense, instead of the Gospel, is what phony love looks like.
Pope Leo XIV also prayed to Mary to end the global conflicts that are heating up around the world. He beseeched “the Mother of God” to bring about the miracle of peace, even though she has no power to deliver on such a prayer.
I wonder if he is ever going to call sinners to repent and be forgiven in the name of Christ, which is the primary function of every Christian.
And the greatest way we can show the love of Christ.
RCC theology renders this proclamation impossible to execute.
For a Christian, all prayers go to our Father in heaven in Jesus’ name. We don’t bother with a third party, even if it is Jesus’ mom, because we were directed by the Lord on how to pray according to the will of God.
I am certain that Leo will remain cagey on issues like abortion and the LGBT, but he will eventually get flushed out of the weeds. He needs to be careful because he does not want to upset the evil Globalists who are the lovers of the RCC.
He will have to fall in line if he wants to enjoy a long stint as the pope. Otherwise, he’d better have some loyal food testers because the Jesuits are experts at getting rid of pesky popes.
He did confirm that marriage was between a man and a woman. That, of course, should be obvious but will put him at odds with the evil Globalists. My guess is many priests in the RCC will continue to bless same sex marriages despite this proclamation.
And they will not be disciplined.
He does seem to be a decent sort of fellow, but that is not going to work for the kings of the earth. They don’t get in bed with decent sorts of fellows.
It will be interesting to see how this develops.
My best guess is he will be a short-term pope.
