Don’t forget other enemies

We know now some of the effects of joint American-Israel strike forces. Iran certainly does. A couple dozen bunker buster bombs decimated the Regime’s nuclear program, despite what you hear from the delusional Tehran media and their global friends—especially those in America.

But I often strive to bring you information you won’t hear anywhere else.

So it is this week I want to focus on Iran’s friends in the American Media, including professing Christians. Israel’s biblical-level strikes on Iran—which will leave those devils reeling for a long time—give us yet another example of a supernatural presence that watches over the Jewish people.

Sadly, many claiming to speak in the name of Christ, the Creator God, are merely masquerading as angels of light.

Last week, a writer for the website Evangelical Dark Web likened Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to a “parasite.” This is Old World anti-Semitism. This stuff originated in Europe hundreds of years ago, and in more modern times blended with classic Arab anti-Semitism in portraying Jews as hook-nosed, dark, big-lipped predators. They dehumanized the Jews, making them Other, and the Nazis among others capitalized on that. That’s how Europe’s most intellectual and sophisticated society, Germany, gassed, burned, and shot millions of Jews trapped in Hitler’s Hell. Ordinary citizens joined in the carnage, just as Gazans were overjoyed on Oct. 7. Many participated.

The Evangelical Dark Web was at it again this week, posting on X “The Iranian people should revolt over the lack of nuclear weapons, actually.”

Are you paying attention? This grotesque statement is not only dangerous for Israel, but for our country. Are these know-nothings unaware that Iran has also vowed to destroy America? They want to develop missiles that will reach the East Coast. But “Web” and their ilk claim that the only reason Iran has a problem with us is because we support Israel. This is next-level ignorance.

Many are surprised that Episcopalian Tucker Carlson drips anti-Semitism from his fangs. Others get it.

Harbinger’s Daily this week: “Though it was frustrating to watch Senator Cruz struggle to articulate the Abrahamic Covenant (and where in Scripture it is found), the most alarming part of it all was the antagonism and condescension that dripped from Carlson’s lips as he derided Cruz’s Christian Zionism.”

Joel Webbon puts his anti-Semitism this way:

“Politically speaking, I believe Israel has had a devastatingly negative influence on America. I do not want our children to fight their wars, and I do not want them lobbying in our politics or having an outsized influence on our culture.

“Religiously speaking, I believe that Judaism is ‘anti-Christ.’ I believe it is a pernicious evil. I fully recognize that many Jews are secular, and do not practice Judaism. However, just as many Americans today do not profess to be Christian, American was profoundly shaped by Christian thought and Christian values. Likewise, Israel has been deeply shaped by a religion that has as its foundation, a complete rejection of Christ.

“I want to see America break ties with Israel in terms of geopolitics. I do not believe they are our ally.”

Just one question: what religion does Joel Webbon think Jesus practiced while growing up in Nazareth?

Mark Tooley wrote an insightful response (though I don’t think he would identify as a Christian Zionist) to flamethrowers like Webbon & Friends:

“Robinson also thanked Tucker Carlson for ostensibly, in his talk with Cruz, ‘killing’ Christian Dispensationalism. And he commended Webbon for rebutting that modern Israel is related to ancient biblical Israel, in which Webbon cited Carlson and Candance Owens, another online personality who is deeply anti-Israel.

“Both Robinson and Webbon tweeted an artificial intelligence generated video of Donald Trump in which Trump declares that the ‘old covenant’ fell with the 70 AD destruction of the Jewish Temple, with the church now fully inheriting the mantle of God’s care, saying, ‘We no longer need to prop up the old Israel and give them all our money. Meanwhile they kill thousands of people.’”

This latest theological trash reminds me of the previous generation, people like Fuller Seminary’s Glenn Stassen and David Gushee. Writing in Sojourners in 2011, the pair of left-wing professors began with a real whopper:

“We are strong supporters of Israel.”

This falsehood breathes the same air Joseph Goebbels did as the Reich’s propaganda minister from 1933-1945. The vitriol Stassen and Gushee shared for Israel/Jews and their Christian Zionist friends was next-level. In this piece, they claim that Christians that support Israel are “sinning.”

Can you imagine? This kind of hubris and malevolence is a hallmark of the New Left in Protestantism, specifically evangelical Christianity. This is exactly where such trash burrowed-into, a la the book of Jude, decades ago. By the time Charles Fuller was passing from the scene, only a few years from Fuller Seminary’s founding, liberalism had already taken root. Among the targets of the faculty in those early years was Dispensationalism. In particular, Fuller’s son (and successor) Daniel Fuller developed a hatred for Dispensationalism. Incidentally, it was this institution that unleashed Rick Warren on the world.

Stassen (who died in 2014) and Gushee were especially nasty to Christian Zionists. Subversives like them tell you they are strong supporters of Israel, when in fact they are arch foes of the Jewish state. They detest Bible prophecy and the specialness of the Jewish People, and Israel in history.

They reveal in this article just how wrong they’ve gotten the biblical text:

“We have come to believe that Christian Zionism underwrites theft of Palestinian land and oppresses Palestinian people, helps create the conditions for an explosion of violence, and pushes US policy in a destructive direction that violates our nation’s commitment to universal human rights.

“We write as evangelical Christians committed to Israel’s security. We worry about your support for policies that violate biblical warnings about injustice and may lead to the destruction of Israel.”

Destruction of Israel? God says that Israel will not be destroyed. The gates and foundation stones of the New Jerusalem will one day bear the names of the 12 Tribes of Israel, and the Apostles. In Amos 9, God tells us that once He brings Israel back for a final time, they will “never be uprooted again.”

This is how you know the Apostasy Twins are lying. They don’t support Israel at all. They get it all wrong. And, they have influenced next-generation useful idiots like Webbon, Carlson, etc.

There is a terrible shadow falling over American Evangelicalism. The Jew-haters are out in force. Some professing Christians have large platform podcasts. Some teach at seminaries. Some head wacky parachurch ministries. All of them are united against the Jews and their supporters.

They are enemies of the Cross of Christ, and His followers.

Mark and avoid.
