Sober Consideration of Coming Realities :: By Dave Hubley

There is an awful lot of enthusiasm in this country right now due to the reelection of President Trump and his promises to unwind the damage that has been done to America in the last four years. I am all-in for that to occur both as a veteran and as a patriot. I love America. I always have and still do. But now it is in the light of Truth.

Over the last 30+ years, I have learned a great deal about what constitutes reality: Reality is Truth from God’s perspective – It is not from man’s.

The America I grew up loving is not the America that exists now. Today it is infested with evil “leaders” with evil intents, employing nefarious methods. America’s once noble character has been severely damaged by rampant Godlessness and lawlessness. We must acknowledge that if we are to deal with the future events that are a dead certainty.

I have placed Bible verse references in (bold) because I am in hopes that the reader might understand the need to personally investigate instead of taking any human’s word. If you possess a Bible, I urge you to open it and read. If you do not, now is the time to obtain one, preferably in (KJV, NKJV, BSB, NASB, NIV) versions.

There is coming a time when you may be unable to get one (Amos 8:11).

This message is primarily written for anyone who may read it who has not “repented” and become a “spiritually born again, saved Christian believer.”

However, it is also for the benefit of those of my sisters and brothers who have received Jesus but have been drawn into this world system and put their hope in all the wrong places. It is a good question to ask yourself (2 Corinthians 13:5). If you think it true, you need to reprioritize and refocus your trust (Isaiah 2:22).

These terms, “repented,” “saved,” and “born-again,” have been battered and beaten over the centuries by the father of lies (John 8:44) in order to obscure their meaning, mislead people, and mock the One and Only God who died on a cross in order to gift people with a choice to accept or reject Him and everything that is included in His life-giving and merciful act.

I was once one of those who scorned these words, but I have since discovered how the Truth and the Love of Jesus Christ will indeed “set you free” (John 8:36).

They are very appropriate terms, and they can be understood by those who honestly seek after the Truth and to understand the Realities of the times in which we live.

Repented (repentance): A simple word that simply means a turning away from sin and self and turning toward God.

Saved: Means that anyone who is willing to repent and has acknowledged that Jesus Christ paid their death penalty (Romans 3:23), (Romans 6:23), believes in Him, and receives Him as Lord and Savior is “saved” from the consequences of her/his sin and rebellion and the resulting eternal death, and instead has been gifted with eternal life.

Born again: Means those who have been willing to do this become spiritually reborn into the family of God.

Time is rapidly running out for this world system. If you are willing to repent and receive Jesus Christ, it must be done while you are still in your living years!

(There is a special message at the end of this article to help those who are willing to take the next step toward reconciliation with God through His Son and receive eternal life.)

The Bible (in a reliable translation, as noted above) is inerrant. It has been proven over and over again to be the Word of Truth.

It has a supernatural effect on those who seek that Truth.

It has been proven by prophesies once future now fulfilled with 100% accuracy. There is much in the way of documentation of these proofs available online by many solid Bible expositors, so I will not elaborate here except to say that all extra-Biblical teachings, no matter who the teacher, preacher, pastor, or priest, must be measured against the Truth found in God’s Word. This is an example of what I consider to be a reliable source of extra-Biblical prophecy teaching: https://harbingersdaily.com/the-70-weeks-of-daniel-an-astounding-glimpse-of-the-future/. But check it for yourself.

The prophecies of the Old Testament about the first coming of Jesus, His purpose in doing so, His life, death, burial, and resurrection, and their perfect fulfillment are overwhelming proof of the inerrancy of the Scriptures and the Power of God.

God’s Word is designed by God the Holy Spirit to convict the reader in their heart and soul as to its Truth, but one must be willing to accept it (Hebrews 4:12).

Now to the crux of this article.

The following bullet points reflect what must be considered if we are to understand that these events have appointed times of fulfillment. They have not yet been executed, but they have been appointed by God according to His Foreknowledge and for His Purpose: To save all who are willing to humble themselves before Him (Micah 6:8).

They are also a very sobering reminder that man will not solve all the problems of this world and live in “peace and security” forever or in Truth ever without God having to execute His final judgment on sin and the open rebellion of man (Psalm 2).

  • (Ezekiel chapters 38/39) Additional attack(s) on Israel. (not the current one)
  • (Zechariah CH 12) The promise of the coming deliverance of Jerusalem.
  • (Zechariah CH 14) The destruction of all those who seek the harm of Jerusalem.
  • (Revelation CH 4) The removal from the earth of all who are truly “saved” prior to the execution of the final judgments of those who have rejected His Mercy and to save the remnant of His chosen people, Israel, who will willingly receive their Messiah, Jesus Christ.
  • (Revelation CH 5) The revealing of who Jesus Christ truly is and that He is the only One who is worthy to break the 7 seals of the Scroll of God’s judgments.
  • (Revelation CH 6-19) The execution of the Seven Seals, Seven Trumpets, and the Seven Bowl judgments, as well as other revelations of His Glory.
  • (Revelation CH 20) The final disposition of Satan and all who chose to reject the Son of God, Jesus Christ, and His Salvation.

All the events contained in the Word of God will absolutely take place just as He has promised they will (Matthew 5:18). God has never failed to keep His Word.

America, and even the world, has reacted to the election of Donald Trump as though he will be able to “cure” the ills that have been ever-growing in intensity and frequency.

God’s Word addresses the strife and turmoil that will continue to grow at the end of the age (Luke 21:25). I believe the “sea and the waves” represent people and nations as well as the natural world. Dual meanings are not uncommon in Scripture.

God does not send anyone to Hell and does not want anyone to perish (2 Peter 3:9 / 1 Timothy 2:4), but He will not permit any trace of sin to enter His eternal kingdom (1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Galatians 5:19-21, Revelation 22:15).

Note: (Nihilism) A lie designed to deceive people into thinking there are no eternal consequences to refusing to repent – that people simply cease to exist after they die. But God has made it clear: There are two forms of the eternal existence He designed into His creation: Eternal life with Him (Heaven) or eternal death (Hell).

It is these Realities that I pray you will come to understand and so place your trust in the Source of eternal life that Jesus promises to those who will seek Him (John 14:6).

All people are given free will to choose their eternity, but again, it must be done while still in their living years (Revelation 3:20).

The special message I promised you:

For anyone who may read this article and has not trusted in Jesus Christ and therefore has no hope or peace in your life.

You can have hope. You can have the peace that Jesus has promised to all who have made Him their Lord and Savior. The peace that passes understanding.

It requires that you come before God on His terms and that you do so in your living years.

And, what are His terms according to His Word?

  • Genuine repentance (turning to God instead of continuing to reject or ignore Him).
  • Confession of sins (that you are a sinner and acknowledge that to God).
  • That you understand that the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23).
  • To acknowledge to God that you are unable to pay that debt.
  • Belief that Jesus Christ paid your death sentence for you on the cross and rose from the grave three days later, conquering death, just as He promised (Mark 9:31).
  • To believe that Jesus is the Way, the only Way, that God has established by which humans may be saved from the consequences of their sin and rebellion.

God has made it absolutely clear that there is no one who comes before Him, under His terms, that will be refused.

  • No one: no race, no color, no country of origin, regardless of any previous belief system: no one.
  • No matter what your past sins have been, God can and WILL forgive you because He says He will.
  • Salvation is available to everyone without any exceptions.

If you put all your trust for salvation in Jesus, and Him only, you can follow that prayer up by simply saying, “Thank you, Father God, for hearing my prayer and saving me,” because we can trust Him to keep His Word. He always has. He always will.

“Truly, Truly, I say to you that he who hears My words and believes the One who sent Me has eternal life and will not be condemned. He has crossed from death to life” (John 5:24).

There are no answers and there is no hope in the world by governments, organizations, politics or politicians. There are only lies and deception. But you can have the Truth and the peace you seek.

The answers are in the Word of God—The Bible. If you ask God, with all your heart, He will hear you.

“And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart” (Jeremiah 29:13).
