The Rapture Is Coming, The Rapture Is Coming! :: By Dale V. Nobbman

The Rapture is coming, the Rapture is coming! If you are a student of American history, this phrase may sound like the verbal warning announced to American colonists by patriots on horseback in April of 1775, spreading the urgent message that ‘the British are coming, the British are coming!

‘The Rapture is coming’ needs to be the urgent message spread by Christians to all the people of the world that Jesus Christ is coming one day soon for His Church (Christians), and people should be watching and preparing for His return. This important message is meant, in part, so that people everywhere may accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior before the coming Rapture in order that as many people as possible can avoid the terrible, terrible seven-year Great Tribulation period.

Until the Rapture takes place, there is still time for individuals around the world to believe in Jesus Christ and be spared from the worst time ever known to mankind on Earth. The ever-increasing frequency and intensity of the ‘signs of the time’ listed in the Bible seem to indicate that the Rapture, followed by the Great Tribulation, is fast approaching. Therefore, now is not the time to delay your decision for Christ. You don’t want to be around when all ‘hell’ breaks loose on Earth.

“I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes” (Romans 1:16). “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23), and “the wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23). “But God proves His love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). “If you confess with your mouth ‘Jesus is Lord’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with your heart, you believe and are justified [in the sight of God], and with your mouth you confess and are saved” (Romans 10:9-10).

On April 18, 1775, Paul Revere, William Dawes, and Dr. Samuel Prescott rode horseback from near Boston, west down the road to Lexington and Concord, alerting the Colonial Minutemen to be ready for the advancing British troops. The next day, on April 19, the Minutemen were ready, the British troops arrived, shots were fired, and the American Revolutionary War had officially commenced.

Unlike the timely warning given to the colonists by the three American patriots the evening before the military confrontation, there will not be an advance notice about when the Rapture takes place. That’s because not a single human being knows when the Rapture (snatching away) will take place, but it will simply happen in the ‘twinkling of an eye’ as the Bible puts it (1 Corinthians 15:51-52).

Jesus tells us in scripture that only God the Father knows when it will happen. That is why it is so important for every individual to not put off their decision to accept Jesus today as their personal Savior, and therefore settle the matter of their eternal salvation before it is too late to escape the horrific tribulation time, which follows the Rapture. You do not want to be left behind to suffer through the unthinkable calamities on Earth, as detailed in the Bible! (Read the book of Revelation.)

There are and will be scoffers during the last days for those who do not believe in the Rapture but will follow their own evil desires. They will say, “Where is the promise of His coming? Ever since our fathers fell asleep, everything continues as it has from the beginning of creation” (2 Peter 3:4).

Do not believe the scoffers. Yes, it surely seems like things are continuing as normal, but suddenly, one day soon, it will all change in an instant, without warning. Who will you believe, scoffers, or the Bible? If you read the Bible, you will find all the Biblical prophecies have a 100% accuracy record!

I have written the following words suitable for use as a song about the coming rapture of Christians.

If you wish, you may want to try singing these lyrics to the old gospel song tune of ‘I’ll Fly Away.’

THE RAPTURE SONG By Dale V. Nobbman

Someday soon, Jesus Christ will come again
Someday soon, Jesus Christ will come again
Someday soon, Jesus Christ will come again
Oh, happy day!

Oh, happy day of the rapture
Oh, happy day of the rapture
Someday soon, Jesus Christ will come again
Oh, happy day!

Jesus will come again to take believers home
Jesus will come again to take believers home
Jesus will come again to take believers home
Oh, happy day!

Oh, happy day of the rapture
Oh, happy day of the rapture
Jesus will come again to take believers home
Oh, happy day!

When we meet Jesus in glory in the sky
When we meet Jesus in glory in the sky
When we meet Jesus in glory in the sky
Oh, happy day!

Oh, happy day of the rapture
Oh, happy day of the rapture
When we meet Jesus in glory in the sky
Oh, happy day!

Jesus will come in the twinkling of an eye
Jesus will come in the twinkling of an eye
Jesus will come in the twinkling of an eye
Oh, happy day!

Oh, happy day of the rapture
Oh, happy day of the rapture
Jesus will come in the twinkling of an eye
Oh, happy day!

When Jesus comes again, don’t be left behind
When Jesus comes again, don’t be left behind
When Jesus comes again, don’t be left behind
Believe in Jesus Christ!

Oh, happy day of the rapture
Oh, happy day of the rapture
Someday soon, Jesus Christ will come again
Oh, happy day!
